Decent campground

Close to the north entrance of Sequoia/King’s Canyon National Parks.

Wide spaces, easy to park. Hookups are completely ass backwards but otherwise ok for a night or two. Quiet. Low water pressure in bathroom showers.

Beautiful park near Pallose Falls

Awesome park near Dayton and Palouse Falls. Absolutely NOTHING, including cell service nearby, which made this open campground in a winter wheat field absolutely perfect!

The hosts/owners are good people, who are accommodating, and welcoming. Will definitely be back and enjoyed the gem.

Side note unrelated to park…. ran into the mother of all dust storms about 40 miles west of here near Othello and ended up posting up in Connelly. Added a day to the trip but was a sight to behold. Wow!!

Unexpected gem I hate to reveal

Totally stopped here on a whim, and while simple, this place is absolutely perfect for the rustic RV’r. The surrounding landscapes are ‘stunning’ and the peace and quiet, absolute.

While old, the restrooms and showers were very well maintained and absolutely immaculate. And I’m an admitted and unabashed germaphobe.

Definitely will return.

Great KAO spot

I’ve camped several times, literally across the street, at Fort Stevens State Park and decided to check out the KOA. At least in January, the rates where within $2 of the state park but with high speed internet.

The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating.  The site was nice and clean even in torrential down pouring rain and wind.

Will absolutely be staying here again during visits to the area.

Tiny Little Gem

Stumbled across this little RV park and inn while traveling through Tillamook and liked it so much I stayed an extra day.  Beautiful location and quaint little park.  Will absolutely stay here again in the future.
