While the park is decent the owner/manager is very rude. I witnessed him being rude to a customer as I was checking in. I figured it was 50/50 so I checked in. They give you a menu for their BBQ restaurant and will deliver to your campsite, just call between 4:30 and 6. I called at 5:30 to order and he rudely told me " there is nothing I can do for you now. I'm busy, maybe I can call you back" I told him not to bother. If their food is anything like his attitude it would be inedible
New owners took over the park and kicked everyone out with 5 day notice on May 25th. They obviously have no compassion and don't deserve to have any customers
Decent campground on a gravel pit pond but fire pits are often full of trash. Several dogs off leash and the Ranger doesn't enforce the 14 day limit for the locals.
Our 2nd day here they did a controlled burn without any notification. This was less than 300 ft. from us and wind blowing in our direction. The dump station is designed poorly so using a portable tote is very difficult. The only good thing is the campsites are very spacious
This is a very nice quiet campground close to a nice small lake. We stayed in space 30 and this area has just had the electrical updated and the are adding some new spots right by the lake. There is a boat dock right there and benches to sit and fish or watch the geese or loons from
The RV park is part of the fairground so activities can be busy. The layout is poorly designed but as long as the aren't busy you can occupy as much area as you want but if they were busy you would not have room for you slide outs. they do have plans to expand and allow for more room. Rates for FHU is 25 for first day and 15 q day after that.
