The campground was a bit small, but very nice and clean. We fit our 42’ fifth wheel there though, so most would be fine! The owners & camp hosts were absolutely great! The campground could use some work, but the owners told us they just bought it and are gradually fixing it up… The location is perfect, just minutes away from Fort Leonard Wood or St. Robert, MO, off exit 153 on I44! Also only a little over an hour from Springfield, MO… Would definitely recommend and stay again if ever back in the area!
My family and I stayed here just passing through and we checked in with the very friendly staff… The campground itself was not the greatest, but okay for just one night passing through! It’s location was great for us, traveling west, being about 45 min. out of St. Louis, MO. The site was pretty muddy, but they had been experiencing lots of rain. Wouldn’t recommend for a vacation, but for one night, passing through, it will be more than suitable!
Stayed here passing through on the way home, but was very nice… The site was flat and suitable for our 42’ Montana Fifth Wheel. Would definitely recommend and stay again if ever back in the area!
Ripplin’ Waters Campground in Sevierville, TN is not all out spectacular, but it is clean and nice… The campsites are mostly pull-thru and you can choose between 30 or 50 AMP sites, but they’re all full hook-up. The people that work there are alright, but can be a bit rude sometimes… Except for the one time my family and I stayed and there was one employee that was very nice and would drive over in the golf cart and talk! The one very good positive too is, that same time, on Fourth of July 2017, the power went out at the campground (they had fixed quickly), well we were gone and you know how hot it is In Tennessee in July, they called us and said if we had a pet in our camper that we needed to get back. And we did - so we rushed back, and I was very glad they did that!!! Overall, a nice place to stay in the Great Smokies!
Watoga State Park near Marlinton, WV will in no way disappoint! Located right on the beautiful Greenbrier River, the camping is perfect for bringing your kayaks! Watoga offers primitive and electric only sites, but there is water to fill up with throughout the park and a dumping station. My family and I have loved camping at Watoga over the years and will go for years to come!!!
Very nice campground… Went on Labor Day weekend 2019, mainly because nothing else was available. But, I was very pleased with the Wytheville KOA Holiday, from their full hook-up, easy access sites to their very nice pool with waterslide!
