Large and Full Service

Nothing quaint about Ruby’s RV park but they have everything one might need and offer full hookups for any size RV rig. The best best piece is it’s proximity to the Nat’l park - we would have stayed in the park but all the RV camping was closed in the park. Anyway, it fit the bill and btw for good food go to IDK bbq in Tropic. Just a lost the only good food around Bryce. Bryce Canyon coffee and pastry was good too but everything else we tried in this region was absolutely par or below.

Beautiful and Peaceful

A small, beautiful and peaceful little park with all hookups. We arrived late and the host call to make sure we were all set. Apparently the bathrooms were closed due to COVID which was a first on this trip but still we like the place. BTW based on how well kept the property is, I’m sure the bathrooms would be clean and inviting! All of Bluff seemed well-kept by proud community members. We will be back here for sure!

Very well done

While deceiving in that it’s close to the city, this campground does a great job - full service sites, the bathrooms and showers are clean and hot. Incredibly we had to discover on our own that the Page Rim Trail goes right by this campground. It’s a 10mi loop around the city of Page. If you ride this loop you will get views of the river, the bridge and the dam. What an attribute and just a small perk as the campground does not advertise that the trail goes right by. Furthermore there is a great bench swing up on the trail that offers sun/moon rise as well as sunset views. A must see! Enjoy folks!!

A unique place...

There was no water at the RV sites. A shower cost $3 in quarters w no change machine, a cold and dirty bath house with disgusting toilets. There is no cable. There is one dump station - no site dump for grey water. No picnic table and the very close neighbor is using our fire pit because the don’t have one of their own. The people who work here were nice and it’s about 30min from the Grand Canyon South Rim National Park. I wouldn’t stay here though unless necessary.

Words can’t describe

Reservations recommended and much needed for this popular campground. It’s well worth it though because the hiking biking fishing paddle boarding and all other outdoor activities abound from Chapman. Any of the loops has something to offer. You will not be disappointed at this great campground!

Perfect

You can reserve these sites online which helps with planning. The sites are well situated just up independence pass a short ways out of Aspen with great views and the sound of the roaring for river. It is close enough to town that you could grab supplies and/or dinner at one of aspens great restaurants once situated if desired. The amenities are great considering there aren’t many more campgrounds around aspen for RVs. It is a bit of a trick getting an RV up independence pass. If continuing SE be sure the road restrictions are followed.

A great place to crash for the night

Arrived out of Denver. We crashed here for the Night. Key was in the night drop. It was quiet and the amenities looked nice but we really were only here for about 6 hours. Would recommend as a great place to crash just off the interstate so easy access in/out.

Great little layover

We arrived late and our site info was in the night drop so all good. It is right off the roadway so there is some road noise. However it is a heavily populated area and we just needed a layover place to base out of for our quick visit to Niagara falls. We left the RV at the KOA and drove 15-20min to the falls. We timed our visit well the park was pretty empty in mid-October but the weather was still nice. Would recommend this koa for visitors to Niagara.

Off the Beaten Path

We o my needed a place for a quick nights sleep enroute to our next destination. We were planning to arrive late after 12 hours of driving. The admin called us when they were closing to make sure we knew they had our reservation and the paperwork would be in the night drop. It was all there and the site was great. They have great showers and the other amenities look great. The location is quiet but it is a bit off the beaten path for the traveler. This is nice but an extra 20min in and out from the main route. Not the worst problem to have… it’s quiet which is really nice! We would recommend it.
