Bridge was out the former way in but walked a trail and found the new entrance. Nice, small park and campground. Pit toilets and cell service was weak but great place for a night.

It was great. Late in the season so quiet but close to town and rode in on my bike. Nice sites with a good view of the water.

I was lucky enough to get a spot far under the trees. It was quite private and even though it was labor day weekend, it was quiet and peaceful. Good cell service, I was able to work on Friday via my hot spot. The campground is well maintained and the trail had just been mowed. Unfortunately there are stickers and poor tuck found a number of them. We still had fun.

The campsites are integrated into the fairgrounds which is different but nice. Very little shade for most of the sites and the reservation process is a bit difficult to navigate but the sites is nice and quiet. There is a bathroom and an outside shower but way better if you have a full camper. Nice access to town and bike trails and across the street and some trails down by the river.

There's a short row of camp spots in the sun for campers. Seems like a good portion of it is full of people who are here all the time. The rest of the campers are in the back of their truck, which i'm not opposed to, but they're in pretty tough shape and very old. I will say this is one of the least safe places. I have felt in North Dakota.

But they are very nice and friendly and I ended up with the best spot ever as it is right on the water and under the only few trees available. There is actually 3 campgrounds and they surround the lake. Some of the nicest tent spots I've seen. Small Frisbee golf course and not much formal hiking but you can boat on this lake and lots of fishing from the shore. Poor cell service but lots of open sky and the sat service is killing it today.

We might be back to this campground, assuming we don't have cell service where we're going. Calling a campground is a stretch. It's a few parking spots near a small park right inside the town. They're cute. They're nice summer in the shade. And I think milner's a pretty town.

Stayed for a few days and thought it was nice. There are two sections and one offers full services and the other just electric service but better shade. The park is well used by the community as there were softball games nightly and the pool was full.

This is a flat, mowed area with direct access to the river for canoe camping. The road in is gravel for over 5 miles and while doable with my little camper, bit sketchy in a few places. I am the only one here which is nice and while it is mowed beautifully, the mosquitoes are insane and I've been if a few places I thought they were nuts. It is free and we don't expect anyone else to show up. My guess is the river is well over flood stage and most likly.arent floating this weekend but we will see. Pack it in and out with a pit toilet and two picnic tables.

One of the other reviews said it's not really a destination, but if you're gonna stay there, it's nice completely agree with that. There's a lot of bike trails. Town is right there. There's very few restaurants, but there are some. And everybody seemed friendly. I don't use the facilities because I'm in my camper. But while they were warm, not sure, I would have felt comfortable showering in them. But there's water at the sight trash at the sight electricity right there. It was fine.

I'm primarily a hiker, and there were just very few hiking trails. I have a feeling. It's gorgeous in the fall with the turning of the colors, but the weather was poor cold, very windy. You couldn't do the hike on the beach, even because the waves were too high. So in rough weather, once you've done the hiking trails which took about 2 hours. You were kind of done there was nothing else to do. Even boating would have been questionable and probably not any fun at all. Last, I don't see anybody say it, but the signage was really poor coming into the park. You couldn't really tell which way to turn to get to your campsite. And as evidenced by everybody who drove past me trying to find their camp spot even though I was the only one in that campground I have a feeling others struggled as well. I might come back in the fall. I drove through town before I left. And there were a lot of ice fishing Jacksontown, so my guesses it's more of a winter spot. Or a boating spot than anything else. And last we did see a bear, it's remote. There were probably all of ten people camping there, So not surprising to see wildlife, but the just about walked up on the bear.

I kind of got to talk out of coming to this park and I wish I hadn't. I think it's great. The campsites are private. You have great cell phone service so you could work from here. And there's more trails than it implies if you just look at the maps, online. The river is flowing very, very fast, so no paddling around on it today, but during a lower summer, I think you could paddle across to canada. So yeah, it's a lot more interesting of a park than was implied.

I think this place is wonderfully scenic and the lake is so pretty. I like it is limited boating and really made for the kayak sort of paddling. The water is very high this year and the mosquitoes are out in force. Also, there is zero cell service and if you are right parked at the office, you could get on their free wifi which is likely what I will have to do for work. I put my starlink on the roof of the van but the service is horrible and even though I changed to most exposed spot, it isn't enough. The office staff was very nice but I will likely need to unplug and commute out to work.

The campground is really nice. It's full of regular repeat campers every week. Not really a place, I would come and stop for a night or two. There's a tiny lake and it's very pretty, but it's not really. A place designed for travelers or overnighters, you could do it. There was a price on the wall, but I think most of the people here are people that are here every weekend.

The campground is tiny but there are showers, bathrooms and water readily available and I think it is a lightly used park. Good trails, nice exhibits and a surprising amount of wildlife. The river was very high and overall very wet summer so far but green.

Friday afternoon 5:00 finished out my work day here. I've had great wireless I'm getting 5G Verizon believe it or not. We're the only ones here it is pretty rustic coming in so if your camper is very sensitive you need to take your time. But the river is going past it's lazy it's quiet I hope it stays quiet all nice and it's $20. Hi Summer might be hot most of the park spots are in the sun but if you had a tent you can find a shady spot down by the river. Their are mosquitoes this year and I don't think the four wheeler trails are highly used I was hoping there would be hiking trails we'll probably just stay one night because the limited walking and I won't go in the high grass with the ticks in the mosquitoes. But it's beautiful I'll upload some pictures in a video.

Smaller campsite with less spaces but right on the waters edge which provides a breeze and keeps the bugs down. Wet spring so Kathoy was terrible but works here. Trails, town which has a grocery store, place to wash cloths and a place to trade out the books I've ready for a new set. Good connectivity so easy to work from with decent bathrooms.

I came in the spring it was a wet spring there were a lot of bugs. The trails are probably not maintained because it was so wet but they were almost impossible to hike on simply because of the amount of mosquitoes. The bathrooms are nice the camp spots were nice they had good signage for the archaeological stuff. It was just very hard to enjoy it because it was so overwhelmingly buggy.

Small, well spaced out camp spots and very quiet. This was a wet spring and under the trees, the bugs were overwhelming so keep that in mind. Few nice trails, several museums right across the street, really nice parks in little falls and neat views of the dam on the river

There are a lot of sites and some are relatively close together. A number of them require quite a bit of leveling if you're coming with a camper. The lake is beautiful you can actually walk on the trail down to a relatively nice restaurant for dinner. Well the park was full when we were there it didn't feel packed it was very pretty.
