This is a quiet little park for being in the heart of Pratt. It's just $10/night for electric & water. There's a dump station nearby, you just need to get the key from city hall. They have a 7 night maximum stay. Great for an overnight, or a couple days to get caught up on laundry in town. People are really friendly.
The campground views are really pretty, and it's next to the Boulder River, which is lovely. If you have a Razor, it's a cool place. There are pit toilets, no potable water, and it's pack it in/pack it out. Cell service (we have Verizon) is sketchy. A lot of campers were running generators, and it's right next to hwy 15. If you're looking for peace & quiet, this campground might not be for you. There are 9 sites.
This is a National Forest campground about 25 miles from Missoula. The bathrooms are vaulted toilets and they were spacious and VERY clean. Our site was HUGE and so beautiful. Bass Creek was maybe 50 yards from the camper and is so clear! Fishing wouldn't be great at that location, as the creek is fairly shallow. The parking spot for the camper was super level asphalt, and plenty Ling enough for our 33.5' fifth wheel. Due to lower branches on the drive through the campground, we wouldn't recommend higher profile rigs. Ours sits at 13', and we felt that anything much taller than that might have clearance issues. There's a group spot for 12-20 people, as well as a spot for bicycle camping. There are some amazing trails for hiking, biking, and also horses. We really enjoyed this area!
We're dry camping in a site w/o hookups (we have solar). The bathrooms are clean, staff is friendly, grounds are well kept. We have a 33' fifth wheel, and we think the area with full utilities would've been tight for us.
There's a parking area at the head of the trail to the beach. We're near the registration building up front, and it's a nice walk to he trailhead. Big, beautiful trees, peaceful setting, close to Ocean Shores & a casino.
