We rented for 120 a night a lake front campsite with a boat. We were given a rock and dirt pad that over looked a swamp area. Our campsite had goose poop everywhere and did not have a boat. We were told we could leave our ID at the office and take one of the rental boats back to our site temporarily. We were not allowed to keep the boat at our site though because they didn't have enough boats for everyone. If you are looking to stay here, all of the decent waterfront sites have seasonal campers in them. Honorable mention -bathrooms were dirty and extremely outdated -they also charged me $20 to have my kayaks

Stay over Memorial weekend Campground: very hilly. Loop B sites are very uneven. If you have a trailer I suggest the A loop or definitely have enough equipment to make you level. Could use another bathroom, bigger bathroom, or a pit toilet. Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of spots for a hammock. Trails: fun and shorter. Trail 10 was the only one not well marked, but we figured it out, and it was worth it. All the others were well marked.

Nice little campground 20-30 minutes from NOLA. Perfect spot for camping outside of the city. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The mosquitos were fierce after dark. Short drive to Barataria Preserve for seeing wildlife. Sites are are large but watch what side your picnic table may be on.

This is a great little campground if you are wanting to explore Fort Wayne or are local and want to campout. Easy access to downtown, the Coliseum, IPFW, and shopping. The River Greenway path cuts right through the park, and there is also a boat launch for the river.

It seems rather secluded, but is definitely in the middle of town. As a FW local, we normally do a warm up overnight every year. I wish more cities had campgrounds this centralized!

Bathrooms are nice, and there is also a playground!
