Large level sites convenient to Mayberry

The campground has a nice playground, large sites with grass and rock parking pads. Full hookups. All sites are in the sun. This campground is very convenient for touring through Mayberry.

Nice campground except.......

This campground has nice large sites, shade and sunny, full hookups, clean pool, playground, super clean laundry room and bathrooms. The only thing that is negative is that there is a shooting range right next door. It is pretty consistent from lunch to dinner. If your out and about, it won’t be an issue. However if you enjoy sitting outside of your camper and relaxing this might be nerve wracking.

Perfect for a stop over

Small campground with good electrical, clean water, sewer and a friendly owner. Each site has grass and a picnic table. There is a wonderful little frozen custard shop down the road called roses farm stand. It’s a perfect campground for seeing the local area or even catching the train to New York City.

Great campground for kids

This is a quant campground geared towards families being out together. They have a beautiful pool, playground and a large jumping pillow like a huge trampoline you can’t fall off of. There is a beautiful creek that many of the sites border. The new owners have owned it about 7 years and they have really been making it a lovely place.

Great campground

The campground is so peaceful. Birds everywhere and children laughing. We had the greatest camping neighbors. It was really good. The site we had only had 110v. One night it caught on fire. Scared us to death. Luckily there was nothing plugged in. It was newly installed in this area so hopefully it’s all good in other areas. There is a beach area that is beautiful. There are kayak rentals. It’s a great place to see all that Plymouth has to offer. Also super close to Cape Cod and Boston.

Nice people but definitely needs care

The campground is quite tight but doable for large campers. There is a pool that is clean. The rest of the campground needed to be cleaned up. The electrical is the worst part. It constantly fluctuates and if you have a surge protector it will turn everything off in your camper to keep it safe. The electrical could not run our air conditioner and we had 30 amp power. It was 96 degrees for several of the days and we were miserable. When we called to have the power looked at, we were told we couldn’t run our AC. He said he doesn’t fix it because he’s trying to keep the rates low so people could afford it. The water and sewer are fine. We met some really nice people though we won’t go back.

Awesomely close to Niagara Falls!

This campground is in a perfect location to go see Niagara Falls. It’s easy to get to and has grocery, restaurants and plenty to do right close. Stay in the front of the campground. The back is close to the interstate and the road noise never stops making it very difficult to sleep with the windows open. They have trikes for rent and they are loads of fun. The sites are both pull through and back in. The have cabins too.

Gorgeous! Perfect place!

This campground is awesome! There plenty of spaces with HUGE sites. There is a beach, fishing dock, pavilion and plenty to do in the area. This is dispersed camping but every site has water nearby. The water is difficult to get as you can’t connect a regular hose. Luckily a neighbor helped us out. There is a dump station. The staff aren’t that friendly but the campground more than makes up for what they lack.

Super small sites

We arrived to find that the sites we had rented were covered in trees so our solar would not work. The campground host tried to work with us to help us find another site which we thought was super nice. However as we drove around the campground many of the trees were covering the road and scratched our 5th wheel as we drove by. It was early in the season and they weren’t quite ready for visitors. Eventually we decided not to stay. This campground is really for smaller campers.

Beautiful small campground

The campground is small and oh so charming. The spaces are nice sized with full hookups on most. All the lots are beautifully landscaped. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The laundry room is near most sites. The campground is in the perfect location to visit Lake Champlain. There is so much to do in the area.

Quant with awesome views

This is a great quant campground. It was built back in the 50’s but there are plenty of sites for those of us with large campers. The sites are right on the lake with gorgeous views. Some sites even have their own pier to sit out on and fish or swim from or simply watch nature. They rent kayaks and canoes to explore the lake. There are several playgrounds for the kids and even a small arcade for rainy days. We loved it here and found everyone to be very friendly. It turns out this is where the locals come to camp when they want to take a weekend trip. Lol. I can see why.

Paved sites, clean bathrooms, few amenities

This campground is one of the few full hookup campgrounds in the Lake Charles area that has paved sites. It is clean and well maintained. There are two bathrooms with showers that have keypad access. The laundry room is clean but expensive with small washers. Cable is available at all sites as well as WiFi. No other amenities.
