The site was angled so we had to turn around before we could back in/park - our 5th wheel is 43’ and it was tight even with all spots not full. The pad was level and full hook ups but the site was small and the fire pit was RIGHT next to the camper. Beautiful wooded view behind us.
There was also quite a bit of mud at the front of campsite which we used fallen leaves to cover but there should be material added there.
Walking distance to all state park trails which was great! Bathhouse was warm and clean.
Stayed here two consecutive weekends, electric site only in the back (field - back in spaces). Was a little tight making our way to the back on the small road, but take it slow you’re ok.
Was quiet and all to ourselves first weekend, second was a Jeep invasion with many tents all in the sites. Great people, helpful and nice. Karaoke on Saturday nights (mostly kids). All the spaces up front full hookup are permanent campers. Close to all RRG hiking and dining, etc. would stay here again!
Stayed here 4 nights, pull through spots require a little bit of maneuvering with big rig (43’ fifth wheel). There was some mud where camper wheels were situated in the spot (needs material). Fire rings are not near RV but behind across the road on the river. Bath house is just ok - not great, not gross. Close proximity to lots of hiking but Hocking Hills itself has become so crowded… don’t come if you want to get away from people.
Stayed here for 5 nights. Started off super helpful meeting us at checkin and escorting to site. Helpful parking assist. Clean bath house and showers. Dog area and playground spacious - lots of places to walk dog. One con is the firewood bundles are TINY for what you pay. There were 6 small sticks in each bag.
Windrock Gap is clean, accessible (43' fifth wheel), very well maintained and the owners are very helpful and attentive to the details. Came for Jeep BOH Rides for the weekend and will definitely stay here again!
