When I made the reservation, they told me where we'd be (general area) because they don't have specific sites, like a normal campground. So when we get there and I check in, we are put in a completely different area!! This area, was just a big ole square chunk of field. Then we were basically just thrown in there, with absolutely no rhyme or reason!! Other people started showing up, and they were just thrown in too. Some were so close to us, it was unreal. We also didn't know that our site was going to be part of a parking lot for other camp sites!! At one point, there was 6 other vehicles parked IN OUR CAMPSITE!! We were told by the neighbors that one of the seasonals across the street, started yelling at us and our neighbor, because we were in his parking spot!!! When we got there Friday, I ordered 2 bundles of wood at 3pm, NEVER GOT THEM!! If asked several times when it would be there, they said soon every time. Then towards the night, they then started asking if we wanted any wood!! WE WILL NEVER RETURN, AND NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!! PICTURES ARE OF THE PARKING LOT CAMPSITE WE HAD!!!!

My family and I absolutely love this place, and is by far our favorite!!! If there are any problems, they are resolved quickly and fairly!

We started coming last year to shades. We have made ao many friends through there, that we now camp with all the time!! There are so many things to do with the kids and family, like swimming in the pool or the pond with waterpark features, also tubing down the river! We've had a few problems, but have also been resolved very quickly!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE!!
