Neat location with direct access to a park like area along the North Platte River. I took the dogs for a swim on a hot August afternoon.
Staff was very helpful. Park was clean, sites were well maintained.
This is a great location along the Clark Fork river. Staff was very friendly. Sites were well maintained and sufficient.
Cons: Interstate noise and the occasional train whistle would keep me from using the facility for nothing more than an overnight stop.
Spruce RV Park is a great base camp for the numerous outdoor opportunities of the area. Glacier National Park being #1
Check in and reservation system was easy. Gal at front desk was extremely polite. The RV park is very well maintained, clean and organized. Bathroom and shower facility well kept. Appears most sites have full hookup options. Water pressure is very good.
Nice location for a quick overnight. Pads were level, sites easy to back into, 50 amp, water and dump all easy and functional.
Excellent for large RV’s. Pull thru sites with full hookups and overlooking Norton reservoir
Perched on a slight elevation at the base of the mountain, Oliver Lee State Park provides a wonderful scenic overlook. On a normal clear day you can see White Sands National Park in the distance.
No water or electrical at the park. There is a dump station.
The nature trail is well done and the informational museum does a nice job describing the history of the area.
Great RV park. Plenty of room between pads. 50 amp Electrical, no water hookups, but 100 gallons lasted us six nights.
Great hiking trails of for all levels. The self guided nature trail was by far the most informative of the four we visited throughout AZ and NM.
Certainly big rig friendly. Wide roads and good room for backing into camp site. Our pad was crushed rock, but very level with minimal shimming required
The campground is set up for all varieties of camping. My 35 ft. Fifth wheel is about max length to make the campground roads. Otherwise, All pads are level asphalt so minimal pad shimming necessary. Park staff and hosts on hand, so the park is extremely clean with a wholesome atmosphere. The Shower and restroom facilities well kept. There is quality shade if summer camping.
Campground was well kept. All pads level concrete. Short walk to the State Park Marina for boat rentals, fishing tournament weigh in’s, etc. Restroom facilities are top notch.
Nothing overly unique about this KOA style campground. Solid stop for an over night. Location near interstate and airport not ideal, but all the full amenity RV parks in the area have some minor drawback.
The woman on the phone for checkin was very friendly. We stayed in Feb so the shad trees were not a bonus, but if it were summer months this park would be a very good location.
Was the final stop before home, so nice to have full amenities for dumping water tanks, etc.
Would stay again on a pass thru.
Great location with beautiful sunrises, sunsets, AND moon rises over the Sacramento mountains.
Clean location, clean restroom/shower facilities. Campground was full the week we were present. A friendly campground host patrols periodically.
Campground is easy to access. Was the perfect spot for an overnight stop before continuing on to our final destination. Water pressure (95 psi, so use caution) was excellent for filling tanks. They have an small isolated fenced in area which is great for letting pets run and air.
The campground host was very friendly. He waited 15 minutes past close to provide instruction. (If checking in after hours, they will leave the information outside the office in a box).
Am saving this location for future stops.
