Simple camp park

We stayed here on our way into Bear Ears. They have to hookups but we preferred the smaller, cheaper tent spots for our camper van.

The RV spots are lined up in the middle of a gravel lot, however the tent spots are much more private and scattered around the small pond.

Hot showers are included.

Mt camp

The only established campground up within the mountains at Big Bend. Definitely worth spending a few nights here as well as the lower river camps. It was completely busy and booked when we first got to Big Bend but we were able to pick up a cancelation

Lots of hikes directly from the camp, South Rim was amazing and gave a full view of the entire park.

Colder up here at elevation, especially during the nights.

Great Stop

Perfect little campground to check out Bandelier Monument. Sites were well spaced and had a decent amount of privacy. We visited during the end of January and the camp was pretty empty.

Nice fire pits, $1.00 per log.
