Wow, this beach side camping is just what you think of when you RV. Sites are well spaced, clean, well tended. There is a dump station on site, and water. No electric or hook ups. The camp hosts were great, even leaving sand dollars out for our kids as a souvenir. Be prepared, the wind can be brutal! Waking up to the sunrise and sea birds is a fantastic memory.
Other reviews were right on….its a dusty parking lot. That’s it. The location can not be beat if you cant get into Grand Canyon proper. It’s a short drive to the entrance, and seeing how far other rv locations were away this is by far the closest option. The sites are flat, and that is the end of the good things about this place. The bathrooms are in much need of repair. Showers were pay by the 8min session, and did get hot fast. It’s good for the location but that’s about it.
Wonderful time at this resort. Kids jumped into the little river as soon as we set up camp! Larger sites, electric and water, dump station. A nice mix of cabins, tents and rv sites. The only two negatives, price…and no WiFi save for a very small area right next to the office. On the other hand no WiFi may be exactly what you are looking for, especially if you have teenagers you would like to talk to!! We really loved it, the location did require a bit of a drive to Sedona and hiking trails, but the place is so lovely, you may not want to leave at all.
We really love this place!! The spaces are tight, but the location cant be beat. The only reason to not give that last star is the WiFi coverage. While it can be a huge bonus to “unplug” COVID has made internet connections much more important. We’d love to stay for weeks if we could log into work!
The staff were great, the location is fantastic, and the heated pool was a big bonus. My favorite touch was the thought put into giving each of the spaces a feeling of privacy using mature shrubs. This is a Resort that seems to have many older patrons, but we felt very welcome with my 3 kids (10,12 and16). Would definitely stay here again.
