San Diego Hidden Gem

We absolutely loved staying at this campsite that was tucked away in the San Diego mountains. There is so many trials to hike. A little local downtown that had a great BBQ spot! Our site was shaded which was great while staying over the summer. The lake isnt really a lake given the high temps was more of a pond. But it was nice to walk out across the meadow.

Tucked Away Oasis

Wow! Never would have imagined this camp site would have looked the way it did. We were tucked up into the hill side with neighbors far enough sway to make it very private. There were no showers so we brought our travel one and hung it from a branch. It was May but got cold enough at night but was absolutely perfect during the day. We say rattle snakes in our walk. Deer walking around the trails. No market but the town is a short drive away.

Buellton hidden gem

We had the best time renting an air stream from tgis location. It was retro and such a great experience. We had air conditioning, running water, and perfect amenities available. The site was so accommodating. There was coffee available at the front. Little shops and markets. Outdoor activities scattered around the park. Food venue available. The pool and spa were a nice addition. It was a little crowded. Close to solvang .

Gorgeous Beach Views

Tent camping off low tide #2 We had an amazing view of the ocean, fell asleep every night to the sound of waves crashing and sea lions roaring. The bathrooms were EXCELLENT. Hot running water, tons of space in the showers. More than enough stalls. Even the porter potties were clean! No wood burning fires allowed so we rented a gas fire put from the for $50 for 2 nights. Life saver, highly recommend its unlimited propane and it was perfect!! Ice was available for purchase. No market. There are restaurants and markets close by and everyone in town was just so nice!

Desert oasis

This camp site was tucked in the back, 12 miles from Joshua Tree park entrance. This site was on the side of the rocks that provided shade for more than 12 hours in the day. There were fit pits, charcoal bbq, and picnic table. Hiking trails in all directions with directional signs and mileage. We went in July so it was really hot but we brought an easy up, ice chest with ice and a water jug. There were restrooms but no running water. There are a ton of animals; we saw coyote, squirrels, crows, and buuugs so bring bug spray and keep your food locked up!

Family fun campsite

This campground was HUGE! There are several site with tenting, car camping, and hookups available. It seems to get busy fast so best to book in advance. There are flushing toilets, showers, and non-potable water available. The sites at Bass are relatively large with a good amount of space between sites. Camp store, cafe, and recreation area were all open. The water was closed. Were tucked into a surrounding of trees and a lake view. Highly recommend this campsite.

Pool campground close to Bryce!

This site was great for our large group! Close to all hiking trails for Bryce Canyon. Short driving distance to restaurants. There was a pool a hot tub! The night sky was clear and BEAUTIFUL.

Great alternative for Zion NP

This campground was perfect for our large group! We were a short drive to Zion entrance which made hiking daily easy. Restrooms were super clean!

Great value for the price

I really enjoyed this camp site! It was FREEZING but worth the clear night sky. We were close to the water and just a short drive from the ski resort and hit springs.

Recreational Hot Spot

This campground has everything! The site are large with fire pit and picnic tables. There is a general store, restaurant with live music, disc golf, water sports, and hiking trails. Love coming here annually to enjoy being tucked away in Santa Barbra.

Hidden Gem

This site was such a great find! The camping spots are big, fit pit and picnic table available. Some sites had nice large trees for privacy. Location was perfect, secluded but close enough to small towns and beach. Fall asleep listening to the waves crash on the sand. Bathrooms were really clean. Rangers were available on site.
