Really great park camping. Great for kids to ride around in the campground. Big campground. Trees. Stars ok cause of large awesome trees. 2 minutes from park store and post office stuff. Clean. Easy in and out. Not sure about great big rv’s. It as long as your maneuverable in a typical national park visitor center type are then you should be ok in campground.

Awesome dispersed. Stars epic. Big enough for large rigs. Lots of gravel roads to go down and find a spot anywhere really. There are a few constructed flat spots but the remaining 99% of dispersed is unlevel somewhat but nothing a little wiggle can’t fix. Great bike and hike possibilities. OHV routes!

Did the late night arrival thing and woke up to a superb sunrise!! Stars were out in full force when we arrived. We took the road in up to the top at night and didn’t realize how much we climbed until we dropped back down the road in the morning. All in all cool place and would go again with more time. Nice ADA stuff at the top at Wheeler paved parking area. Amphitheater, flat wide trail to lake.

Super duper dispersed camping. Small fee it think was $8 to go through the Alvord hot spring road to enter. Insane stars/moon views!!
