The sites are spaced well, have electric, water and WiFi. There is a pool, basketball courts and other amenities. While this is just off of the interstate, it boasts nice views of the surrounding mountains. This made for a lovely sunset and sunrise.
While the staff was great, the river was peaceful, the cramped RV sites are too close for comfort. There are many great amenities, however when you can reach out and touch your neighbors, it dampens the experience. As much as I liked the whole community, I will not return. I don’t like feeling like I’m in a parking lot.
This place was an oasis for any traveler. The sites are spacious, well placed with lovely views all around. I had a small river behind me. There’s a large pool and plenty of play areas. As large as Echo Island is, it’s surprisingly peaceful.
The sites are nice, somewhat shaded and restrooms nearby. It’s very convenient to the highway, however it’s so close you see and hear traffic. It’s perfect for pulling off the road to stay the night. I would not plan a trip here simply because of the location, and distance from the highway.
I stopped here on a long distance trip. The sites are nice, somewhat shaded and easy to set up at. The plus and minus is that it is directly off of the highway. You can see and hear the cars driving by. It is great for a quick stopover. I would not plan a trip for anything more.
This campground is a nice place to get away from it all. The campground is clean, has water and compost toilets. The toilets have a unique ventilation system leaving no unpleasant odors. There is a section for electric hookups. That area is cramped and lacks trees. The dry area has picnic tables, fire rings and are spaced nicely. You are a short drive and walk to trails and other recreational activities. If you choose a first come first served site, bring cash or check for the cash box.
This is a nice dry campground. There is drinking water available, as well as vault toilets. The toilets have a smell that can be annoying. The lake is pretty and all sites seem to have decent views of it. The campground is close to area activities, however nice enough to stay at exclusively.
This park has something for everyone. I used a site that provided electric. There are tent and dry sites throughout. While the sites are everywhere, they are spaced in a way that feels private. There are bear boxes, picnic tables and fire rings at each site. The bathrooms were clean, with flushing toilets. Places to get water are all over. There are so many hiking opportunities for every level.
The RV resort has electric and water at your sites. There is drinking water, propane filling and dumping area, a mini mart and a laundry facility. The bathrooms are clean with flush toilets and showers. If the place was full it would feel cramped, however I was there during the week with about 1/3 filled. It is difficult to get to the beach. Once going down the hill from the park, you walk about 2 football fields to cross safely at a light. Otherwise you dodge traffic on a very busy road. The road noise isn’t too bad, tho it wasn’t great. The prices are a bit steep, however you get a lot of amenities. Everything was nice and clean, I just wished the beach access was better.
