Nice campsite right next to the river

Right next to the Chattooga river. You're on the beach.

Burke mountain lean-to # 1

First of 2 lean-to

On the red trail …near the split for red-blue options.

With fire pit.

Burke mountain Lean-to #2

Nice lean-to on the blue trail.

With a fire pit

Great campsite near the Seward range.

On the Blueberry trail not far from the Ward lean-to.

Very close to the trail to Seward, Donaldson and Emmons.

Lean-to, privy, fire pit, table, and water around.

Great campsite at the bottom of Seymour mountain

Great campsite with a nice lean-to.

Fire pit, picnic table, and a privy.

A bit further you will find some tent spots too.

Plenty of water around.

Tons of free campsites and lean-to

Tons of free campsites and lean-to everywhere.

Some with picnic tables and fire area.

First arrive type!

I camped while hiking the full CL50 loop.

You can also swim or go fishing!

Tiny remote campsite

very tiny and remote.

5-6 tent sites and a small box privy.

But great when you hike the HaBaSa trail (haystack, basin, saddleback).

Since it's right after Haystack and not too far from Basin.

No need to walk more…it's on the way.

It's a very high campsite…So it's windy and colder at night.

Great campsite near the river and falls.

Great campsite!

Lots of tent sites and 2 lean-to.

2 privy.

Near the river and a huge falls too.

Campsite is FREE (but entry is 10$ day)

Great campsite !

You get a lean-to and tent sites.

Near water (collect water with a filter only)

I was able to make a fire but make sure it's okay when you go.

Lots of space for many people.

Not too far from McAfee knob.

Great campsite for tent or RV

Very big campsite.

You drive in and there's multiple campsites for your tent, Car or RV.

There's a large clean toilet cabin (not a basic privy).

It's next to a tall tower.

Fire area with picnic table.

Great campsite near the river.

One lean-to and 3 campsites.

2 near the lean-to across the bridge.

1 on the other side.

There's also a privy.

It's far out and the only way to access is by hiking.

Great campsite!

Great campsite going up toward Algonquin peak.

Just a bit before the MacIntyre Brook Falls.

Easy to collect water at the falls.

It's on a side trail (left side).

Bear canisters required.

Great campground!

Great campground when doing the DIX loop.

I prefer it to the slide campground.

You have the Lillian brook flowing right next to it.

Clear water with big rock pool to swim in (COLD)

You can collect the water but use a filter or tabs to be safe.

I've camped there twice.

There's also a Lean-to.
