Great base camp near many Black Hills sites

I’ve been to this KOA in the past, but not for a number of years. It still lives up to the hype. The amenities are endless. Too many to list here. The kids loved the splash park, bounce pillow and ice cream shop. We were visiting when they hosted one of their rodeos too. Overall a great place to stay. As some reviewers have mentioned, it is a pretty busy park. Cell signal is virtually non existent as well.

Trip to the Badlands in June

Nice campground located not far from Badlands NP. Easy access to the campground, and nice level sites. The free pancake breakfast was a nice touch for our family as well. We didn’t utilize the pool, but it looked clean, like the rest of the campground.

Close proximity to Estes Park

Spent some time here during Covid-19. About 7 minutes from downtown Estes Park. Nicely wooded and level sites offering some privacy. Plenty of amenities including pool and jump pad which our toddler enjoyed. Would recommend for a base camp for trips to Rocky Mountain NP

Close to Wall Drug

Easy access, decent sized campsites in close proximity to Wall Drug. No frills

Nice and quiet

Good space for sites. Right off of I-80 for a stop for the night. Courteous hosts, and clean campground
