Great campground for a chill entertaining weekend with kids. Beautiful new pool was perfectly maintained with plenty of tables and chairs to make a day of the time at the pool. Pavilion and picnic area near pool and playground perfect for family gatherings or kids birthdays. Even a small game room. Dog friendly too! Small pond to fish (catch/release). We will be back.
Conveniently located just outside of St Louis. We camped here for a trip to the city for St Louis cardinals game and zoo. My kids loved the jumping pillow at the park. Minimal playground but they still enjoyed it. Wish there was more of a good walking/biking area around it (I love to be able to walk the dog around the playground while kids play and this wasn’t really an option. Waffle House and gas station nearby but mostly industrial area immediately around campground.
Small dog run. Playground could use an update. Good water pressure. Level sites. Spread out decently. Gravel/dirt roads through site. Plenty of picnic tables. Constant strong hog/cattle farm smell untold winds turned.
This was a great KOA. Paved roads were great for bike riding, beautiful lake along the back side of the grounds, nice large dog run, clean and plenty of machines in the laundry area, super cool playground with outdoor workout equipment too.
Sites are VERY close together in the larger rig area up front but we’re some nice wooded smaller sites toward the back. And pull through sites were super easy to get into. Plus the kids got a big kick out of the two Buffalo on the grounds!
Go here for the location and views. Good park for the kids to enjoy. Tight spots and some “pull through” sites aren’t actually pull through. This isn’t the spot to hang out but you’re so close to the places you’ll want to be spending your time that this is a fine place to rest.
Paved roads throughout made for nice bike rides with the kids and larger than usual dog run area was nice (right next to the playground made it easy to run both the dog and the kids).
Served its purpose no issues.
Typical KOA. As expected. Close sites. Level ground. Nothing super memorable but I appreciated having a couple dog runs available plus a playground the kids really enjoyed. Plus the grass patches next to each site were a great addition when it could have simply been all gravel like some other grounds we’ve been to.
Camping under the mountains is exactly what I had in mind for our trip and this site delivered. Wake up to the mountains out your front door, hear the stream just steps away. Plus, kid-approved playground within the grounds. Sites are pretty close together and can be hard to navigate with larger rigs.
We suggest one of the lower/back sites especially in one of the loops to the back right as it was low traffic and our kids made quick friends within that circle drive and the ride bikes together for hours right around the loop.
Plus walking and biking distance to Zion National park, no need to even find-pay for parking if you’d prefer a short bike down the street. We recommend hoodoos for ice cream (and that shop has all the essentials you might run low on too) and the friendliest staff. You won’t regret your stay here!
This is not your scenic campground but is perfect for amenities. Laundry open 24/7. Nice new facility. Cookie to greet you upon checkin. Playground, sports complex, outdoor gathering place with gas firepit and plenty of seating, dog run at both ends of the part, nicely paved roads in and easy to park in spots.
Right off the highway so there is road noise but you’re close to town to stock up on essentials or get delivery!
The short walk to the stunning lake Watson makes this park a must visit. You’ll feel like you’re in the wilderness of the mountains be able to access trail head just a few steps from your site and yet be a DoorDash call away from pizza at your door. Plus that same walk to lake will bring you to playground and you can even rent kayaks.
Holding back from 5 star review for just two reasons because roads through site were basically dirt making it super dusty when wind picked up making dinners and hanging out outside the camper pretty tough. Plus the laundry facilities were pretty limited in hours for a place with so many sites. Having to do laundry mid-day with last loads in by 2:30 when we were out exploring wasn’t doable for us.
Great atmosphere and sooo close to the Branson landing for dinner/shopping but also right on the river for a great day on the boat. Just a bit down river from Lily’s Landing (bait shop and a fun stop in for the kids to grab a snack). Walking distance to a park with play ground and two separate dog park areas (one fenced one open). Definitely an “RV PARK” nothing secluded about it if that’s what you’re looking for… very close to neighboring site and even in off season it was packed full the weekend we went. The sites along the river side had great big fire pits too.
Great place for a place to stay near the lake of the ozarks attractions. Super close to big surf and not a bad drive from all the lake has to offer. But not a favorite for a trip focused more on hanging out at the camp site. Very hilly (though grade on the site wasn’t bad at all), pull through sites make getting in easy with larger rigs but all roads through are gravel and rutted so not the easiest. Sites close together without much in between. Nice large trees would offer some summer shade but still not much separation between sites. Water and electric at site. Small “dog park” (fenced in area) great for smaller dogs to run off leash and pretty large kid okay ground too. Overall we will stay here again but think of it more as bringing our own hotel to the lake rather than coming to enjoy the campground.
Really beautiful lake and lookouts and trail down to sandy beach. Close marina and even little food truck right off the lake. Good fishing. There are a lot of sites and we went on a packed weekend but sites arranged well and ours backed up to woods and felt as private as it could among so many campers.
