Mudd mudd and more mudd

Lots of atv trails patchy phone coverage fun place

Hip skip and jump away

This is a great campground. About a 10 minute walk over the Cass St. bridge and you are in the heart of downtown La Crosse. This campground offers everything.

Creepy AF

So at first I thought this was the perfect place but then we drove all the way trough. I took many pictures like I always do and none are in my phone from this 3rd park. When we came across site 63 I first thought this is the best one but then when I looked again…. there were creepy smiley faces painted on the trees. We just got a bad vibe and left. Didn’t know my pictures didn’t take until I got home to write the 3 reviews on the park. I definitely would not camp here alone and that is something I do all the time.

Simple but sweet

The main camp area of the 3 parts of Sidie Hollow Parks. There are around 20/30 or so site. You can put a tent or small camper on any and be pleased. Nothing to do but connect with nature or take long country drives. The winding roads that lead to this special little park show some of Wisconsin’s prettiest views. Definitely even worth a day trip.

Step away from time & back to what life is all about

Just about 30/40 minutes outside of La Crosse is a quite place called Sidie Hollow Park. You will have patchy phone coverage. If that’s what you are looking for, then you will find it here. This is a 3 part review. The boat landing campground is the one my family liked best. The park was cleaned, quite and close to the boat landing. You can see the playground from all 20ish camp sites.

Over the bridge and a wonderful surprise awaits

This place was wonderful. I’m a local who actually comes here often. My kid loves all the playgrounds. I love the fact that I can take her hiking here and not have to worry. The plains are a nice change to bluff hiking. The slow peaceful kayaking almost feels like time stops for a moment and you can actually reconnect with nature. I think whether you stop with your family for a day or stay a week you will not be disappointed. The park was very clean well-kept and organized. Staff members and all other campers were friendly and I felt like they were truly happy to be there.

Upscale Glamping

Lake Neshonoc is a local favorite! There is so much to do in La Crosse county. Shopping, food, hiking, boating, fishing kayaking. Although this is a very clean campground with lots to offer to me is more like a tiny home 55+ with a golf cart at every trailer. There are maybe five tents site a few rv sites but this campground is all about the seasonal members. I felt a very clicky vibe as well. Like new comers weren’t welcomed. The campground five minutes up the road is hands down all around way better.

A hidden gem

I almost don’t want to write this review. This is a well kept secret and should stay that way. A quiet nook off the main road opens to a cozy campground. Some of the nicest people I have meet!

Pretty

This campground is more for rv’s. The Mississippi is always amazing. Great place for families. Clean showers and bathrooms. I do not agree with the “sleeping unit “ thing. It’s just not my style but still a great campground. One of the things I like best is the playground is on the beach. My kid really loves that!

Amazingly beautiful

This place is so peaceful. There is so much hiking and kayaking to do! I still haven’t explored it all. I can’t wait to go back!
