Primitive

While we needed to be in the area, we selected this campground for its lake access. Come to find out that it’s a shared pay-public beach also. All day, every day, we had folks jumping the fence near our site to sneak into the campground so they wouldn’t have to pay. Sympathetic with the owners. Bathrooms and showers were very dirty and only got cleaned on the weekend—had lock code to keep public out. Not much privacy between sites, very dusty and rutty roads. No internet available and poor cellphone reception. Dogs allowed in campground, but are not allowed in lake—even on dog beach.

Summer fun

Great campground, close to Gettysburg but far enough to escape. 2 pools which is a bonus. Many folks have golf carts, as the campground is huge—and you can get turned around easily. Sites are well maintained, clean, wooded, and in the area we are in are spaced nicely. A bit pricey esp. without many of the amenities open (slide, food bar, games) due to staffing shortage—affecting every business though. Everyone is super Friendly and helpful. Pets welcomed and well behaved. Quiet during the week, weekends quite busy.
