Gorgeous lake with tons of other lakes in the area. This one was a little too busy for our taste that combined with complaints we heard about fleas here we decided not to stay.
Beautiful small lake, not a lot of room for camping and definitely one the busiest lakes in the area. About a mile of rutted dirt/gravel road to get to. Tons of tiny bugs that get into everything. We only stayed one night.
Beautiful and easy to get to. Will fit any size rig. Paved the whole way until you get to the reservoir and then itβs a pretty easy dirt/gravel road. Lots of spaces available even on the weekend. Saw two spaces with picnic tables and formal fire pits but you can camp pretty much wherever. Only complaint would be the biting flies.
Beautiful campground secluded with large sites. Campground is first come first served and requires a discovery pass. The discovery pass can be purchased online and you can write the transaction number down to use in your windshield. The campground is close to the hoh rainforest and does get pretty frequent rain.
The campground is first come first served small sites that are cramped together but close to the ocean. $15 per night.
This koa is right in Missoula. We stayed here traveling through which it has showers and laundry room which was great, however the WiFi was horrible and the campground it self is surrounded by neighborhood/ trailer park. Spots are crammed so close together and was expensive for what you got in return. Definitely would not stay here unless you have too.
Secluded and gorgeous. Campground is small only 3 spots but is free and provides a pit toilet. Would definitely stay here again.
Great spot close to Yellowstone. Was able to pull up and get a spot. The campground fills up on weekends but weekday arrivals itβs easy to just pull up. This is hard side only camping no tents due to bears.
Gorgeous campground with an easy hike to the arch. No water available bring everything you need with you close town is 29 palms.
Visited towards the end of June campground was clean. Spots were clean close together but bushes separated sites and allowed some privacy. Stayed here due to the proximity to the park and having electric and water hookups which was great in the desert.
The campground has well spaced spots nice bathrooms but horrible pay showers, definitely bring your shower shoes. The rv spots have electric hookups but no water or sewer. Very warm in summer no fires allowed. If you are looking to explore the caves March or October is when they are fully open. The park gets quite busy on weekends, parking lots at the trails are usually full by 10am, make sure you get an early start.
You are allowed to camp on the road to the hot springs, there are several pull outs making it easy however there is no camping past a certain point (signs stating) and not at the springs. There is a pit toilet in the parking lot for the hot springs but not where you can camp. We were able to camp with our 19 foot trailer but I donβt think I would recommend anything larger.
This campground is labeled as equestrian however anyone can stay. Great place close to Frenchman lake. Has pasture area for horses. Spots are well spaced out and never filled up while we stayed for 4 days. Tons of horseflies late morning and early afternoon. Pit toilets, and drinking water available. Easy to stay with trailers and rvs. Road is dirt/gravel on way in but easy to navigate.
Great free spot on Snag lake. Close to sardine lake and in the gold lake basin. Caught a bunch of catfish but no luck catching trout here. Not a lot of people camping here but it is first come first served.
Campground is right on Gold Lake which is great for fishing, boating, and hiking. Lots of other beautiful lakes in the area. Campsites arenβt super close to each other which is nice but it is first come first served and can get pretty popular in the summer especially on weekends.
Love staying here. Lots to do nearby mostly obsidian collection and fishing. Make sure if you are wanting to collect you get a free permit in town before heading out. The road can be a little rough to the campground with some deep ruts. We were able to pull our 19 foot camper up the road and into the campground not sure if we would try with anything larger. Campground is in the shade which is great in the summer and has a creek running through.
Beautiful area but spots fill up quickly I highly recommended making a reservation. We were lucky get a great spot mid week due to someone canceling. Camp host is very nice and bathrooms are very clean but no showers.
Campground is beautiful. Spots are first come first served and can fill up quickly. Small lake perfect for kayak fishing.
Beautiful campground not too far off of 395. Stayed one night passing through. Free campground with pit toilets. Stayed on a Thursday lots of spaces open. Was able to back in our 19 foot trailer. Road in was a dirt road fine for the most part with a few ruts.
Beautiful campground not on top of anyone no amenities but great recreation and fishing. Pit toilettes only.
