Got a Beautiful spot overlooking Lynx Lake. Sites are spread out enough that there is plenty of privacy between the spots. Running water from a pump and the out house style toilets were clean. The camp host was incredibly friendly and helpful to all of our questions. The campsite is only 5 minutes from the lynx creek gold panning area and the pueblos ruins, as well as only 15 minutes from everything in downtown Prescott. Heard coyotes howling at night and saw a few deer passing through the area as well.
Very beautiful drive up to the lake and campsite. While the vegetation and terrain is pretty open, there is still quite a bit of privacy at the individual sites. Bathrooms were clean. Wonderful sunrise over the lake. Very nice playground for the kids.
Very nice campground, great area for kids. Campsite was right on the lake and had a gorgeous sunset. Bathrooms werent the greatest but still good. The only really bad thing was that there was poison ivy all around our campsight.
