We stopped in for an overnight and weren't impressed when we got there. The trees are overgrown and the spots are very poorly laid out. We have a 37 foot 5er and had to do some difficult maneuvering to get turned around when we left. The owner took cash only, didn't register us in any way, and frankly overcharged for what we got.
This is a well laid out park for the back in sites, we stayed in the back in a new area under construction so it wasn't as nice but we knew that coming in. The host was fantastic in giving me all that information before we arrived. The back is are very nice, they have a few with concrete pads and decks.
Nice NEW park in middle GA that has large spots, a dog park, and some small trails to walk. People were very friendly and the owners were fantastic! Easy parking and plenty of room for additional vehicles in your spot if needed.
Pulled in here for the night on our way to middle GA, well laid out park that was easy to get in and out of. Very friendly hosts.
The Jayhawker has well laid out spots and is off season friendly. Hosts are good honest people and will work with you around your schedule. Great place for a stopover or extended stay for work.
All the typical amenities of a KOA, but very small and the spots are pretty tight. Felt like we were sharing our campfire with the neighbors. Close to Bennett Springs!
Electric only sites, some extremely difficult to level in, but overall a very well maintained park and a great host. The town of Arrow Rock is awesome, adds a great element to staying here.
We found this place while in route to IL, very well maintained campground, great hosts and tons of activities available here.
Outstanding park! Huge sites, brand new poswer poles, shaded, amd well patrolled for am extra feeling of safety. We had a great weekend! In the A amd B loops, very minimal cell service and very little opportunity to stream on the TVs. I also couldn't get any over the air channels but we weren't there to watch TV!
The people here are great, location is ok, convenient to a lot of St Louis attractions. Large spots, but they are close together, no fire pits, but good power, water and sewer connections.
Huge spots, full hook ups, lake access and a marina with a small restaurant inside. This place is one of my new favorites in the state.
This is a well maintained park with plenty of large sites, both pull through and back in. All very flat with no trees, but a nice little lake with a walking trail around it (5 or 6 miles)
We really likes the amenities and the convenience of town near by to this well maintained park. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. There are a ton of activities available for kids and adults, we will be back!
Nicer than average KOA with a great pool, kids areas, lots or cabins and tent spaces. Very quiet setting and great camp hosts.
Decent park, mostly full-timers in here. The pull through full hook up sites are small but adequate but do not give much room for parking your tow rig. Our spot had an elevated sewer hook up which made dumping the tanks a challenge.
This place is beautiful! They are doing a ton of construction right now and updating a lot of the campground. The first several spots are full hook ups and huge campsites. Be cautious coming into the park, the bridge is very narrow! I lost a driver's side mirror on the drive in because a truck coming at me in the opposite direction hit mine with his.
We stayed two nights and wanted to stay longer, the sites are large and the hiking is incredible! Our sits overlooks the river, Will definitely be back!
We did an overnight in this KOA on our way to Tennessee, the rates are decent and I needed full hook ups to finish de-winterizing the camper. Small place, but has a very nice pond side of the campground that would be great for a longer stay.
Stayed in this park for a week, they are very old-school with the reservation method and only accepted cash or checks when we stayed. The spot we had was small, but worked. I did have some power issues on the 30amp, but worked fine on the 50 with my adapter, The host was friendly.
We had a great weekend in Area 3 of the Pawnee Recreational Area. Big spots, good working power for 30 amd 50 amp, but no water at the sites. The camp host had 200 feet of hose and we filled the clear tank from that. Lots of hiking trails, very nice weekend!
