Clean facilities , friendly staff, level sites and at a good price.
Tried to get a campsite at a nearby place while traveling though, but showers and such were closed….was told about this place. Desk clerk was great. Got a level space to park, electric and bathrooms with a shower for $22. Perfect no fuss stop to nap and clean while passing through.
Clean bathrooms, nice ppl….sites right on the lake & a little beach to sit at…seems small but a lot of big rigs fit just fine
Quiet, pretty hiking trails, nice people, close to home but tucked away enough to be away from everything
Stopped here to regroup & rest in the middle of a long road trip. Nice park, trees are growing so hopefully next time we stop there will be shade!
Small but did the trick…in the middle of a cute town and the people are really nice.
Good hiking trails, beautiful nature, quiet and tucked away…I like it.
Great place to run away to….plenty of things to do to keep busy if that’s what your looking for and also nice little camp spots to hang out and relax.
Sites are decent size, drove in and got a site, no reservation.
Definitely centered around kids. Very busy, pretty expensive…there is a required length of stay, so if u don’t have time or are not certain the weather will cooperate to get the most of your $ spent, I don’t recommend.
On an “I’m gunna lose my mind if I don’t get outta here” whim, I picked this campground as it seemed to be right in the middle of everything. In one day we checked out Mt Rushmore, drove back to the camp site to have lunch then went to the badlands and before leaving the next morn, we tootled around wall drug. We lucked out getting a tent site with the shelter as I was unprepared for the rain and wind. We had a nice stay at a nice little clean campground and the dog enjoyed running around the fenced pet area after spending so much time in the car.
