This campground is small with no water or electric hookups. Water is available but not in campground. Most of the sites are small and not very level. There are only 2 sites that a small camper could use. Must of the trails must be shared with the horse riders. The horse campgrounds are pretty nice.

This is probably the best state forest in the state of Indiana. The property is well maintained. There is a new visitors center built a few years ago. There are some picnic areas and a couple of shields and 2 cabins for rent. There are a lot of trails to hike 2 of them are over 10 miles (lower gap and three lakes). The Tecumseh trail (40 miles) starts in Morgan Monroe State Forest passes through Yellowwood State Forest and ends in the Hoosier national Forest. There are some shorter trails also. The trails are very nice and well maintained. There is a paved bicycle trail approximately 5 miles long one way Three small lakes are on the property for fishing and kayaking. There are three campgrounds on the property. The main campground has around 20 sites. The overflow campgrounds as about 10 more sites. There is a youth campgrounds to. Each campground has pit toilets and wash station with water available to take to camp site. There is also camping on the some of the trails. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is, we are RV campers and there are only about 5 sites we could get in to. Our camper is about 25’ and it was tight get in and out of the campground. If you have a small camper (15’ or smaller) there would more sites. There is a dump station, but I barely got in to dump. So not real RV friendly.

One of the most beautiful places in Ohio. Some amazing trails, most of the trails are fairly easy to hike and most are not long (less then 2 miles). Several waterfalls to see, and rock over hangs. Campgrounds has all the bells and whistles for camping.

I have camped here many times over 20yrs. There are 3 campgrounds on property, 1 is for horse camping, 1 is very hard to get to(no campers will make it to this campgrounds, people also go there to party), 1 near the forest office has a few site that a small camper could setup. Over the years the property has been logged a couple of times and in rough shape. There is water available(not at camp sites). The trails are mainly for horse riding, so they are pretty muddy. There is a lot of wildlife to see.

Lots to do here. Fishing, kayaking and hiking. There are some awesome hiking trails here, they are very rugged for Indiana lots of hills. J-W offers some real pretty views. Skyline drive is real nice and Strave Hollow is down the road a few miles. There are several RV sites(10 to 15) available most are pretty level. Reservation can NOT to made (first come first serve).

Very nice place! Hiking, fishing, kayaking, and horse riding trails. It is located just a few minutes from Brown County State park and Nashville In. There is a few RV sites (9 or 10) mostly tent camping sites. There is water available and outhouses, there is a dump station for RVs. I would have given 5 stars, but need some more sites for RVs (some of the sites are not real level). There is NO reservation.

There are many lake with good fishing, most of which have boat ramps (small boats). Great for kayaking and canoeing. There are cabins for rent, two campgrounds on Reservoir 26 and Wampler lake. Reservoir 26 is open and flat (good for larger RVs) Wampler lake is not as open but RVs can get into some of the sites. Water is available, no electric. There is not many trails for walking. Horse riding and camping are also available here.
