Reserved for 3 nights and we ended up staying 7 and we don’t even gamble, but after traveling for a couple months it was nice to relax for a bit without braking the bank. RV park is nice and clean, someone goes around picking up your trash just needs to be placed in front of trailer. Beautiful sunset views. The casino has some cool movie memorabilia displayed. Indoor pool is nice but not heated. We did drive to Memphis a few times, about a 50min easy drive. They take Good Sam but for some reason only $1 off p/night instead of the usual 10% off.
Spent 3 nights here in December and loved it. We seemed to be the only ones out camping during this time in that whole area. It was the perfect spot for our travel trailer. The other sites did not look to be too RV friendly. This site was long and pretty flat. The lake is beautiful to wake up to each morning, definitely looks to be a popular lake in the summer. It’s right next to a boat ramp and parking lot but saw no one there during our stay. There is also a town only 30mins away.
This is a great location. The owner of the property, Scar, is very generous in offering his property for free to stay at to complete strangers. This is dry camping, no water or sewer. There’s a dump station with water close by off the main highway. He does have a few outlets we saw but didn’t use them. Owner is friendly and generous. We enjoyed the nightly campfire. Read his website before arriving, all he really asks for and be respectful. Craters of the Moon is not too far. We hope to stop by again one day. Idaho is beautiful.
Stayed here for 2 weeks, clean cut and straight forward park. Functions like a campsite with a registration box. Can’t beat $20 a night for full hookup. Small park right next to it that the kids enjoyed. 20 sites total but less than half were occupied. It’s a very small town, one restaurant (breakfast here was good didn’t get to try the lunch) and one bar walking distance away, and everyone we came across was very friendly. City is 50mins away but an easy drive. We would definitely go back if we’re in the area again.
