We stayed in our pop-up camper that was close to the road at the front of the campground. Across the road was the river so we were close to the river which was very nice. We did take a walk through the campground which is very large. We found a dry riverbed where we looked at rocks. There was a nice sized store and a pool as well.
We were parked on a hill with lots of gravel. Campsites are very narrow. But there was a very nice pond to fish at although it was a bit of a hike to get to. They have a dog park which was nice.
This is a small campground but right next to it there is a lot of land to walk through. Sheri/Sharon the owner is right up there with one of the coolest women I've ever met. She gave us Maps for the trails and where there was nearby trout fishing. It is close to the road so a little noisy. The bathrooms and shower house weren't open due to covid. And there is no store on site. Where your camper sits is all rock but then where the fire pit is all grass and a pretty big spot to be able to relax in.
Very large, open place with the river close to most campers. I never floated here but I'm sure it's quite the party!
Next to the hwy. so it's noisy. The river is nice here but a little walk to it. Does have a full bar, small store and nice showers and bathrooms. They had live music when we were there too.
I've been here many times and it's always a blast! Especially the floating on the beautiful Courtois river! Has a huge store and pizza that they can deliver to your campsite.
Many walking/cart paths. Great shop and fishing!
