Boomer Park has a boat launch access to Kerr Scott Reservoir where you'll find great kayaking and canoeing, as well as plenty of space for motorized watercraft. There is a swim beach and pavilions for family fun. There is no overnight camping at this park.

We stayed at Leesville Lake Campground on our way to and from a visit to Washington, DC. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the level sites across the street: easy-in, easy-out. Some of the sites on the other side of the street looked like they might be a challenge to get into. You might want to talk to the owners about that before you settle on a site.

We stayed at Bull Run Regional Campground on our visit to Washington DC. It was fall and the colors were gorgeous. The sites are all pull-through off the roads through the campground. So your camper faces the woods and you feel like you're all alone. Bath houses are clean and well maintained. Our site was very level, but I could see that some others were not so much, so you might want to ask about that. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Love this campground! Well maintained and clean bath houses. Choose a site hidden in the trees with lots of shade and privacy or in the sun with a view of the reservoir. Hiking trails and water activities. Warning: prone to flooding and cancellations.

We enjoyed our stay at Stoney Fork Campground. It is well maintained and peaceful. It's a small campground and it has many full-time sites. It's right on a creek and it was lovely to drink morning coffee next to the water.

We camped at Table Rock State Park in SC in October 2020. It's a beautiful park, clean and well maintained. The weekend was a little crazy. The park was packed and many sites were filled to overflowing. I'm glad we were able to stay past the weekend to enjoy the peace and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Kayak rentals are very inexpensive, but 30 - 60 minutes is all you'll need. They were a little short staffed due to Covid, so the check-in location near the campground was closed. We had to check in at the Visitor Center, which is quite inconvenient if you're towing a rig. But all in all, it was a great stay!

Warrior Creek Campground is located on the Kerr Scott Reservoir. It's beautiful and peaceful, at least Monday through Friday. Weekends tend to get filled up fast and often with large groups stretching the limits of a campsite. It's close to home for us and we love camping there, especially in the fall. It is surrounded by hiking/mountain biking trails. Bath houses are nice and clean.
