We only stayed 2 nights here but could have stayed much longer. This RV campground is perfect. The attention to detail you see in this park is not something we have seen a lot during our travels. The gravel roadways to each campsite are groomed perfectly level. Art, sculptures and flower pots are everywhere. Not a thing out of place. The Wifi was really fast…the best we have seen in over 1 yr and full time camping. The office and store have ice and a wonderful selection of goodies, The park is surrounded by corn and soybean fields and is quiet. This is a real gem of a campground. Not a thing wrong with it. We highly recommend. We had over 50Mbps on our Verzion and ATT hot spot as well as the RV park's Wifi system. This place is smoked hot for internet connectivity. This park is Big Rig friendly with very large pull throughs
Wonderful KOA covered in trees and close to bay/beach.Great campsite and customer service. Beautiful walk to beach. Nice store for necessities and ice. The Hosts very hospitable. Bathrooms too very clean. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay and they have a Husband and wife who are Vol. Firefighters and EMT's so they have you covered for saftey We loved the attention to detail. We got a very good Verizion signal(4 bars) for our Hot spot and 2-3 bar signal for our AT&T hot spot. Our site was clean and well maintained I would recommend
Stayed 5 nights site A-40 a very nice spot for our 26ft Class C motor home we fit a-ok an had 30am and 15am at the post, the site and utilities are in great shape weather was cool in the 60's and nice cloudy with a touch of rain. cell signal on Verizon was really low speed and mostly useable. But ATT was good with 5-7Mbs with out using our outside anntenna and cell booster,10-20mbs when using it. This place is quiet with lots walking. A loop is the best loop of A-B-C loops for privacy. The walk to beach is about a mile but a fun walk with a great beach to walk on. We really loved this parK but Had to use my cell booster and extend my antenna to get good ATT signal. This is a really neat and well run camp. The showers were closed but toilets open for use. All sites are cleaned right after the departure by friendly camp hosts. We recommend highly and will be back.
We stayed a week at this Park in June 2020 However we had stayed at this RV park in 2006 for a month or more. So we really have a good base line as to what it use to be like and it was a Real Gem of a park back then. Oh how things have changed. The bath house was closed and run down. No Laundry available. The Dumpsters were full of garbage. The Grass was chest high. on most of the sites and had not been mowed in weeks and weeks. All the water hook-ups were leaking and the power boxes were in real disrepair. The only thing this park has going for it is the proximity to the beech. We had a billing issue that has still not been resolved over 2 weeks ago. I do not recommend, there are better RV parks nearby This is a real shame as this park really was a Gem but has fallen in to disrepair
This RV park is very woodsy, with lots of shade. They offer breakfast burritos at the office from 8-11am. At this time, the laundry is open(showers are closed) but a mask should be worn when in the laundry facility and office. The pricing is$2.00 per wash and$1.50 to dry. The park only offers 30 amp service. Although this park is quite expansive and nowhere near at full capacity, the sites are very tightly assigned beside one another. There is NO social distancing available when your neighbor is less than a few feet away. We will not be returning to this RV park. In addition, the electrical hookups were at ground level with no breaker box.
Great park. Very neat and clean. No bath house or store open due to C-19 virus but all in all great park. Recommend it highly., Fast wifi and low to no road nose.Good sewer connection at ground level and in good shapePowerstation was in good shape and correctly wired we had a nice stay
What a great beach boondocking location! Fantastic view and hard-packed sand that made it very easy to drive on. We only stayed one night and will stay again next time we’re in the neighborhood. It was not crowded. Overall we had a really good time.
Very nice park with all the amenities. Concrete pad, two pools, hot tub, private bath and shower rooms. There’s also an on-site pizza maker and a nice laundry room in which you need to use a debit or credit card with each machine. No need to use quarters. There is beach access right across the street. They have a store with a two flavored daiquiri machines. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. You cannot go wrong staying at this park. Off season rates are the best. And if you use the online booking you will save money. If you call the front office I was told the rates can be higher.
This review is about the Holly Beach RV park that you pay to stay at. There is free camping on the beach. but we stayed at the Holly Beach RV Park located on Mallard street
We stayed 3 nights at the Holly Beach RV Resort and we were the only one here. The park is a large concrete slab in the middle of the Holly Beach community. It has 6-8 back-in, full hook-up sites that can fit any big rig. The beach on the Gulf of Mexico is a very short walk away. Our stay was very quiet and enjoyable. There is free camping on the beach should you want to boondock on the beach. We saw very few locals due to the time of year. All of our hooks-up worked perfectly. The sites are all 50 amp so bring a 30 to 50 amp adapter. I recommend this RV park highly and would stay here again. There is no shower or bath house or laundry. Overall we really loved this place.
This campground has a lot going for it however there is a downside there is construction going on right next-door and the noise starts at 7 AM and doesn’t let up till about 5 PM the park has great amenities and great location with the construction noise was a real bummer for me
