This is a nice quiet campground with many trees. Some of the trees are low hanging, be careful if you have a taller rv or trailer. We went in November and the leaves were all changing, awesome. There are a few activities for the kids. A nice river runs through the campground for swimming in the summer. Very spacious campground and sites are a decent size.

Big campground tucked in the forest with many activities for the kids. Place has an indoor pool for those cold nights. Polar express in Williams is a short 10min drive from here. Staff is super friendly!

We had spot 11. By far best spot in campground. End of the row with endless views 180 degrees around your rv of lake and sunset. Campground is clean and well maintained. Store has enough amenities for those that may have forgotten some things. Even sell night crawlers for the fish. We stayed here for 3 nights and it’s an easy 10min drive to entrance of west Yellowstone. Remember, you are on the lake, so there are mosquitos. That’s the only complaint about this place. Views and sights make it worth it.

This KOA is nestled in the hills of Santa Paula. The KOA is consistent with its name, meaning the kids amenities are all there, trampoline pillow, nice walking trails, walking labyrinth, and of course the adventure course and zip lines which are great activities for all ages. This place also has teepee tents to stay in and wagon coaches with beds to also rent and stay in. Recommend those two things in the summer months. The pool is a nice size too, plenty of room. We went during January and there was also a rushing River that you can get to by a 30yard hike, great for a dip or letting the dogs play. The only downside is that you pay KOA rates and most of there sites are only water and power. They have about 10 sites that have sewer hookups too, and for all the others they have a dump station when you leave. Some trees may be low, be aware pulling through and parking in sites. There are peacocks that roam the campsites freely, they are loud and not scared. Overall we had fun and good weather.

This place is huge. There are multiple sections to the campground. Views are better from the top portion of the campground. Tons of grassy areas for kids and pets to play. 2 pools, very basic square shaped, no jacuzzis and not many patio furniture to sit at around pool. Very quiet and the majority of spots are good size. They do have a number of long term residents at this park which can turn some people off. They are in process of trying to make this place more of a resort. They need more activities for the kids, not much. You can easily walk to puddingstone lake and fish or swim when the season is here. Overall, nice and not too expensive.

This KOA is older, but super quaint. Staff is really nice and bathrooms, campsites and showers are very clean. Campground is tucked away within the mountain and there are many things to do just outside the campground. Beach, trails and golfing all within 5min. Spaces are a little small, not much room to hang out in your space.

The campground is tucked away between 2 canyons amongst sycamore trees. The parking pads or trailer pads are very small, but the sites themselves have good space w/ fire pits and tables. Cel service is very scarce in the campground, you need to go out to the beach for service. The beach is within walking distance, great waves for surfing and awesome tide pools for the kiddos. There is also a dog beach and a couple rock caves to explore. Overall, a nice getaway and not too far from home.

This was our first time here. It is close to the 101 freeway, you can hear the traffic, but that didn’t bother us. Just be aware, it’s not a super quiet place. Campsites are concrete pads, level and have a decent area of grass between sites. Each site also has a fire pit. We went here in March ‘21 and half the resort was still closed to covid restrictions. No pool, jacuzzi, playground, transport vehicle to and from town, and game room. Odd, because most of the state was already open. Beach is 5min bike ride either way out of the resort. Great sunsets!!!!

Went here during the summer of 2020 during COVID. The place is huuuuge. This is more like parking lot camping than anything else. The sites are super close to your neighbors and very small, can’t even put out your chairs because it’s so cramped. Fire rings are not even that. People here have no camping etiquette, walking thru my campsite, loud music til early morning, and just no regard for neighbors. You have to race to the beach at 7am to save a spot on the weekends or the only spot you will get is on the launch ramp. The ocean here is not the cleanest either and the rentals are $$$$!! Many better places in San Diego other than this.

This campground in Barstow has many things to do. Campground has full hookups first off. Next, they have a separate campground area for OHV campers and vehicles. Plenty of trails and some famous rock climbing just behind the hill. The ghost town is awesome to check out, kids love it. Pan for silver, train rides and explore the mines. Even grab a bite to eat with a beer at the saloon. Gets hot in the summer but fall and winter good times to go. This place even has cabin rentals too.

This is a great campground. Right in the heart of the forest. There is a market and showers at the entrance to the campground. They even have a dump site for trailers and rv’s. Just a few miles down the road are the giant trees, Moro rock and crystal cave. The river runs right thru the campground too. Awesome and fun!!

Nice campground for tents, rv’s and trailers. There is multiple levels to this place and it’s huge, bring your golf cart. KOA took this place over and is remodeling it for the better. Many amenities for the kids to do also. Bring your bikes, there are trails thru the hills behind campground.

This is a simple campground with big pull thru sites but small areas to hang out around your camp. Summers are hot here and winters are cold. There is a small town a couple miles away and Mt Whitney is just up the hill as well as the Alabama Hills. 2 great places to visit. This seemed to be an overnight spot for travelers making there way further up the 395.

This is a great campground away from main roads and amongst the trees of mammoth. This campground is for tents, trailers and rv’s. There are no hookups here, but spots have fire pits and tables. This is also an OHV campground, so you’ll see an occasional dirt bike or side by side cruising through. There are bears here too!!

We visit this place once a year in the summer, sometimes twice. This place is glamping for sure. They have full service hookups for rv’s and trailers, bungalows and cabins. Lots of amenities for the kiddos when COVID isn’t around. The new pool is great.
