Small free campground in the southern part of the Park

It's the only place to camp in the very scenic southern end of the Park. There are only five sites. All have a fire ring and picnic table. There's a vault toilet, but no water or firewood so you must bring your own. It's also the trailhead for the superb short Red Canyon Trail where I saw a Mountain Sheep.

A small scenic campground at the north end of the Park

This campground is situated at the north end of the Park at a high elevation. It's free and has picnic tables, fire rings and a vault toilet but no water. If you want to make a fire, you must bring your own firewood. There are excellent views of the valley below only a short walk from the campsites.

A lovely Forest Service campground with many sites by the river

An excellent campground near the end of the drivable section of the Boulder Road. Good fishing right from the campground and a trailhead across the street and another two a mile up the road. There are good fire rings, picnic tables, vault toilets and bear boxes. If the campground is full, there are some dispersed campsites about a half mile south on the right.

Tiny, but beautiful and close to good hiking

There are only two campsites in this no cost Forest Service campground. There's no water, except from the stream, but there are good picnic tables and a well-maintained vault toilet. There's good fishing and the trailhead for the Green Mountain Trail, a very nice 6 mile hike to the Natural Bridge, is across the road.
