Parking lot basically

We weren’t impressed with this spot. If you have your atvs and all with you then it would be nice but besides that it wasn’t very good at all. Loud and zero privacy between a spots. It was clean though which was nice

We loved it here!

Our neighbors here were so friendly! We even all cooked and ate dinner together it was great. The spots were spacious and we felt very safe sleeping here in our little van

Loved this spot!

Right on the dunes this was a great spot. Pretty loud considering the crowd it’s catering to but we enjoyed it because it’s our type of people. Nice and clean but very minimal also.

Nice spot for a stop

We enjoyed our stay here but it was nothing spectacular. Facilities we’re clean and our spot had a fire ring and picnic table. For the price we appreciated what it had to offer.

Nice and quiet

Very quiet area. We were one of just a few at this site which was nice. Reservations required but you can make them online. Clean facilities made it a great stay on our road trip

Good clean campground

This campground had everything you need. Fire pit and table ready for you. Grounds are accessible and when you’ve been driving all night it’s exactly what you’re looking for. Must have reservation

Nice spots good view

Lots of things to do here there is a gas station on site as well as a small shop. Right near town and right in the water. We enjoyed it even though rv parks aren’t normally our cup of tea. Saw some marine life as well

Nice spots not very private

We enjoyed our night here. You can reserve online last minute which is great! Spots were clean with picnic tables and fire pit but very close together

A little sketchy

We went looking for the other campgrounds on this road that we’re closed so we were disappointed. We didn’t leave our van due to rain but we had a nice little pullover. No fires allowed due to recent fires on the area

Pretty views

We loved camping here the sports were great and right by the beach. Firewood was kind of expensive though and you had to drive down the road to get it.

Good little spot very average

We stopped here on our way down to glennallen. It was very average had good clean bathrooms and picnic tables with fire pits. It was a nice spot but nothing out of the ordinary.

Beautiful scenic loop

We love this campground! We didn’t have a reservation but every spot has a colander on it that tells you what days it’s reserved for. We checked in easily and we’re able to buy fire wood as well. Showers are available as well as nice bathrooms and even a cute little library. Fire pits and picnic tables at sites. We saw dolphins and a sea lion!

Earthquake!

We loved camping here! The river is so pretty and the mountains are beautiful. We were sitting in our van and all of the sudden there was an earthquake! Just a small one but it was kind of exciting. The sunrise was also beautiful over the water. The have restrooms, water pump, and a boat launch as well.

Great spot! Lots of beaver activity

Such a great spot to camp on your journey to the arctic circle. there is a trailhead across the street and then on the other side of the street there is a spot right on the creek with a fire circle already made. The beavers are very active and we caught a few little trout here. Make sure you’ve got bug spray cause they’re BAD up here.

First to Review
Small grounds but we’ll maintained

We just happened across this site on our way out of Seward. Nice little area with bathrooms. Spots are close together but separated by a privacy fence. Punic tables and fire pits as well. Limited space

Not crowded, amazing views, great little campsite

You have to reserve a spot online before hand. Every site has a direct view of the lake we loved it. There is a bathroom and it looked like maybe they normally sell firewood but there wasn’t any when we were there. It is tents only

Close to town & running water

This spot is so close to Seward it’s great! Spots are fairly spacious and it has running water which was exciting. Pretty packed when we were there also.

Nice view just not a big koa fan

I’m not really a big koa camper in my experience the service has been horrible but they were friendly here. Our view was really great and we were so close to exit glacier.

Be bear aware when camping here!

The spots are secluded and hidden from the road which is great. We saw some black bears in the area which was cool but make sure you have bear spray just in case. close to Seward which is also great!

Not really our thing

We’re not big rv park people so it wasn’t really our thing but as far as rv parks it was nice. The restaurant being right there was great we were able to enjoy cocktails and dinner on the deck
