I know not everyone loves the tent pitching experience so 2 days later ,before heading home, I decided to book a basic cabin to see how it is inside and out. I have to say that it’s a lot of fun for all of us . We didn’t want the kitchen or restroom, still keeping it outdoors kinda, but the restrooms are about a minute or 2 walk, and they have a barbque pit. We just fired up some wood and made some fried bologna sandwiches. 😂 Pool was also open so the kids and wife had a blast!
Easy check in and very easy guide around the park. They had great activity for adults and kids to enjoy. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy all of them, because of the rain, but we did what we could. Park and restrooms are extremely clean. They have multiple parks in different states which I know for sure will be a great stay as well.
We reserved our reservations a head of time, showed up, and the staff was very helpful and went easy. They keep the park and restrooms clean clean. We got to hike the 40 Acre Trail (about an hour hike) and the whole family loved it. Definitely will be back soon in the future for the other trails and activities.
We arrived around 11:30 pm to the park and was stopped by a very helpful officer that explained to us the park was closed, but helped us get a spot anyways and directions. Got to the spot and it was more than I expected for a camp site (electricity, fire ring pit, table, Barbque pit, and trash cans with bags). We set up tent quickly, made a fire, and had a great time with the kids!
