This is a new park. Very well layer out. Easy access to all sites. The management is fantastic and extremely helpful. This is a great place for all types of visits to the Tulsa/Bristow Oklahoma area.
This is a new RV park. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Sites are spacious level and easily accessible. They have a large dog park, good parking and area for additional parking for extra vehicles, boats, and such.
Overnight stay. One of the nicest state parks we’ve been to. Heavily wooded lots of shade. Not all sites have sewer hookups. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Visiting relatives in the area for a 2 night stay. We arrived just as the office was closing. Well, maybe a bit after. The office manager saw us come in and met me as I was walking up to the after hours arrival board. She was very friendly and explained the direction to our site and covered park amenities and features. The sites are plenty spacious however the hookups were near the entrance so it was very near the maximum distance for making connections. Good water pressure and reasonable wifi. The roadways are pretty narrow but the sites are angled to allow easy entry and exit. I’d certainly stay here again.
Not cheap but we’ll within area norms. This camp has many long term campers that are friendly and helpful and some have children with them. Some full-time rigs are weekend campers. Some weekend events are planned. Most sites have full hookups with 50 amp electric only so if needed have an adapter (available at the small camp store. We had an unplanned extension on our visit that included a weekend where a group was scheduled and the park was booked including our site. The friendly staff worked to ensure a temporary site for us for the weekend.
An overnight stop on our route. Gary was great, most helpful and it was a pleasure talking with him. This is a rather small campsite and I recommend advanced reservations. Two pull through sites that do not have sewer hookups but there is a dump station if needed. Electrical hookups are 50 amp so have an adapter if you need 30 amp service. I’d certainly recommend it.
Stopped for a couple of days to take the train and see the Grand Canyon, Very nice sites but not a lot of extra room. The nearby restraunt has a great breakfast. We would stay there again.
We stayed 5 days while on a bussiness/vacation. We started off in the dirt area and on a weekend. No sewer hookup or paved sites on that side, and it was very crowded on the weekend. Many people, tents, and people per site. Some of them seemed to be in compitition with music. It did quiet down after 11:00 pm. After the second day, we were able to get a site on the grass side. Paved, full, hookups, and plenty of room, This was like a completely different location. We would gladly stay again if the grass side was available but not on the dirt side.
We stayed at this KOA on our way to California from Texas as an overnight stop. We liked it so much that we stayed there on our way back. There is very little shade and as it is high desert no grass either. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They also are able to provide a dinner meal. The menu is not large but the prices are reasonable and the food is great. A complimentary continental breakfast is also available. Great for travelers.
My wife and I stayed here on a visit to our son and family. This park seems to be a former Mobile Home park. There are many mobile homes in the park with full time residents. The RV sites are spacious as they are former mobile home sites converted to RV parking. Mostly back in but with the size of the lots it isn't difficult. Back in on the grass, not the small concrete slab as that is the original car parking for the old MH lot. No WIFI but cable hookup is provided. We would stay here again.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean, easy parking, with plenty of space. The lots are long so no trouble parking an extra vehicle. Fishing pond, fishing/swimming pond with water slides, and a swimming pool. They also have a separate COI pond.
We stayed overnight while traveling. It was pretty quiet even though near 1/4 mile, the highway. Good cable tv. There are a lot of trees so satellite reception would likely be difficult. We didn’t use the Wi-Fi. The pads are gravel but relatively level. They are easily accessed. We would definitely stop here again when passing through.
Have stayed there a couple of times when passing through. No cable TV. Staff was very courteous and helpful. On one occasion we were delayed and arrived late. The staff called us before the office closing time and let us know which site to use and told us not to worry that they'd see us the next day. No trees and fairly close to a primary road and an interstate highway.
We'd stay there again.
I have stayed there many times this past year. My son lives there full time. The staff is great. Very helpful and courteous. I've gotten to know some of the residents and yes, the majority are full time residents. Not a lot of room to open up awnings but for anyone who knows Oklahoma you don't open them up often anyway if you want to keep them.
We enjoyed this park however, our site was not level and the water had an unpleasent taste. It is off of the beaten path and you will need to travel a short distance on a gravel road that had some potholes.
Many of the RV parks were still closed in mid May. Redrock if a nice park and they are adding more sites. We booked and arrived late in the afternoon but we were welcomed by friendly on site managers and quickly checked in and shown to our site. Its a do-over if I'm ever back that direction.
This is a beautiful location. An overnight stop for our tour of Mount Rushmore. Only about 20 minutes from the monument. We booked late in the day but all was ready for our arrival. We had a Back-In site that was very easily accessed. This location is worth repeating. For very large rigs with tows, it may be a bit tight in spots.
Well maintained, clean, and easily accessed. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is a rather large park but you are guided to your site. They have a well stocked store if you need to stock up on supplies. I would gladly stay there again if I'm in the area.
