We’re cooking campers and we are currently in semi retirement mode traveling to campgrounds across the Midwest and beyond. Cooking, camping outdoors!

Love being close to Lake Michigan

Go early and wait for a chance to camp, first come first serve! Close to the beach!

It was so nice we stayed here 2 years in a row

This was a nice, clean and super relaxing place! Loved it!

Great Little Private Campground!

We Loved This Place! Right on the French Broad River in North Carolina another little hidden treasure. The staff was awesome and the view every morning amazing.

Loved It Completely!

Nice campground all the way around, great staff, nice clean restrooms and showers, beautiful beach within the campground itself, nice pool, secure and if I left anything out I didn't mean to. Loved this campground all the way around! They let me bring my portable hot tub if I paid for the water and they didn't charge us enough in my opinion! We were able to rent kayaks from local rental for 24 hrs. and they delivered and picked up at the campground!! Close to everything!

The Best Campground, Right On The River, Love Everything Here!

Foxfire is my favorite campground to visit. The view of the river next to our campsite was amazing, water water rafting right there at the campground, fishing from the campsite was a bonus and the owners are the nicest people we've met in our travels. Full hook ups or primitive sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Nice clean campground we plan to visit often.

Great kayaking and fishing campground!

Bathrooms need work but I have my own so it didn't really affect me. Beautiful area and really nice campsites.

Great weekend, Kayaking & bike riding

Nice lake for boating and fishing, great for bike riding. Campsites have really nice fire ring with grates for cooking as well as picnic tables.

Wish we had more time! Nice little campground

This was a great little camping place, right next to the Wabash river! With the rain we have experienced recently I was prepared for a little mud with a few extra tarps on the ground and it was perfect! The view was great of the river and we cooked chili over an open fire in the fire pit, great place to spend a couple of days or longer!
