In the morning the water is so still and calm, that it looks like a canyon. Amazing time! My pup got in the water for the first time on his own. Lots of space for semi private camping and fishing. Even went topless for a day!!

My parents took us kids when we were teenagers, and we really enjoyed the wide open of it all. I mean there are so many things to do, from swimming and hiking to catching lizards and climbing rocky cliff sides. Ok that was just the bro. I did hike to the top of the cliffside across the river facing the campgrounds. That was steep going up! I thought I'd die going down. Butt it was exhilarating! Please If you want to try somewhere cool and new out east? You gotta try Crooked River! You won't be disappointed.

Right on the water, and hiking and beautiful greenery. My pup and I came up last June before the holiday rush. We had the best time I've ever had on a trip! The lovely couple that host were so great and attentive. Will be returning!!

One of my favorite things to do when the weather warms up is to float. I enjoy the Clackamas River. We sometimes start at Barton Park after lunch. It's lovely all around! Clean and lots of space.

Best time! Up far away from things but still close enough. Beautiful. Peaceful. Close for hiking and water.
