Not the best experience

My site had the hookups in the middle of it. The bathhouse is not ventilated. It doesn’t have ac. It’s extremely hot in there. The park Rangers are more like fun police. My neighbors had their family reunion yesterday. At sunset they were on site telling them they had to leave. Everyone was clearly loading up their vehicles. It was unnecessary for them to show up and bark at them. I got harassed by 3 different people in a period of 5 mins b/c I had my lights wrapped around a tree. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back here.

Cute campground

It’s on the smaller size. Some sites are really short. Be sure to check the pad length. A lot of spies don’t have much room beyond the pad.

No cell service

The park is beautiful! Lake Erie is beautiful! Lots to explore on the island. It was a little costly getting my camper across on the ferry. The staff are amazing. The entire campground is a dead zone. Wouldn’t have been a big deal, but we were there for 2 weeks and my son is home schooled.

Nice wooded play area

Big park. Lots of trees. The shower houses are nice. The bathrooms could use some updating. They are the old outhouse style. Lots of mosquitoes. We rented a pontoon boat. There was a lot of sea weed. Has to stay strictly in the middle. The park is beautiful.

Great place for hunting

I stayed at salt Fork for 2 weeks. I never saw so many hunters in my life. My site was really amazing. The changing leaves gave excellent views. The lodge has an indoor pool and good food. Make sure you have plenty of gas. The nearest gas station is 20 mins away. They had a ton of ticks. I pulled 4 off of my dog.

Very quiet

When I was there it rained a lot. My sites were mud pits. The campground is beautiful. Some sites were backwards. A lot of the sites are only 20 amp.

Close to Ohio Medieval Festival

The campground felt like we a were camping in a field. Hardly any trees on the sites. The playground was really lame. My camper got infested with stink bugs. It was really close to the festival. I will only camp there again because of it’s close proximity to the festival grounds.

My favorite campground in Ohio so far.

I love how most of the campground has water sites. The bath houses are clean. The camp hosts are amazing!

Peach Queen campground

When we arrived the grass was very tall. They did mow today. Just not my site as we were occupying it. It has full hook ups. Not very much shade. My site has none. The bathrooms are dirty. The pool is a nice size. It could use a vacuum. There is a decent size jungle gym at the playground. My 8 year old son has been having a great time playing with other kids there. There is a nice sized fenced in dog park. There is a swing to sit on. However, it’s all busted up and not usable. There is a nice sized pond. I haven’t been to it yet. There is supposed to be wifi. I don’t see the network when searching for it. We have our own hotspot. It runs on the t mobile network. Except, we don’t have a signal here. I haven’t met anyone who runs this place. Honestly if my son wasn’t having as much fun playing on the playground we would’ve left after the first night. We booked 3 nights as to break up our drive. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
