Nice level sites. Clean and well maintained. Sites have Electric but are fairly close together. Good dump station. Easy to drive into town for shopping or dinner. The lake is not huge but is good for fishing, boating, skiing. Also an easy drive to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It can be windy but Boyd is one of my favorites to get away.
This is a very nice State Park campground. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. There are few trees but some great views of Colorado Springs at night, Fort Carson and Cheyenne Mountain. Nice level sites with water, electric and sewer.
This is the place you want to be! Campsites are nicely spaced and mostly level! I’d estimate that 80% have really nice shade trees. Electric provided with water nearby but I understand it’s not worth drinking but suitable for showering etc. I always carry drinking water anyway!
ThIs place Is really geared towards kids. Expensive, Dusty and uneven sites. It’s very hilly so if you want to get around to explore, make sure you rent a golf cart. Also, the train comes by often. Good dump station.
