Small campground with beautiful view

We stayed on site 16 right on the lake. Beautiful views. Our site was very steep, so took a lot to get level, but it was ok. The rangers we're very nice and helpful. Took a walk on the nature trail and it was a nice, short hike and then we looked at the museum and schoolhouse. The only downside is that you could hear the traffic at the campsites. Other than that it was a great spot.

It's my favorite State Park in SC.

It's a nice, quiet campground. The bathhouses are good. Lots of activities. Kayaking, boating, great hiking/biking trails, and lots of area of horses. Every 3rd Saturday they have house competitions that are held there. We were in campsite 8 this time. Nice and level with water and electric.

Beautiful campground. Lots of amenities

This campground has a pool, WiFi, gorgeous lake, a trail around the lake, nice level sites, and they pick up your garbage. It's absolutely picture perfect. The only thing that could make it more idyllic would be to have some horses

Fantastic Park

We loved our short visit to this park. The spot was a nice size with lots of shade. We also had full hook ups for our RV. We were at Burson #17. We also had WiFi that worked very well.

The camp is well maintained as well.

There are hiking and biking trails and a fantastic lake to kayak on as well.

Park is Gorgeous

the park was amazing. the hiking trails are wonderful and if you do the Stone Mountain Loop Trail the views are 100% worth it.

There are a few different loops. The tent only sites have lots of shade and every 2 sites shares water.

We stayed in loop B, #51. We had zero shade. There lot was big and clean with electric and water hook ups for our motorhome.

There's quite a bit of wildlife to view also.

WiFi only at visitors center.

Beautiful and active

The hiking trails are amazing and vary for your level of ability. You can take your mountain bike on most of the trails, just not on Saturday due to the volume of hikers.

Camping of reasonable, but some of the sites are extremely uneven. I would avoid site 39 especially. I've stayed at sites 4,5, & 36 without issue. I have a 25' motorhome.

Beautiful Getaway

We stayed in May for a weekend. It was full of people and kids. There were great trails for you and your pup's to go hiking on. The camp itself was clean and well maintained. I didn't use the restrooms as I was in an RV, so I cannot comment on those

At night quiet hours were kept and it was just beautiful!
