My husband and I love to tent camp and explore the USA!

Great state park campground!

We had a great time at Findley State Park Campground the past weekend! The camp staff was extremely friendly and made a great first impression. We reserved two sites (20 & 21) and both sites had plenty of space! I was amazed at how large each site was. Bathroom, water and dumpster was close by. Easy hiking and plenty of road to bike along. Felt very safe as the camp hosts and rangers drove by several times throughout the day. We can’t wait to go back!

Very picturesque!

Spent the night here during a camping trip in August 2010. Right along a beach and very relaxing! Beautiful sunset opportunities and on a clear night you can see plenty of stars. Bear box and pole to keep food safe and a lot of blueberries around when in season!

Girls Weekend Campground

Stayed here for a girls weekend in Geneva at one of the tent sites. The tent area was small (this is mostly an RV Park), but it was a good spot to stay! Showers and bathrooms available as well as electric hookups. Located within a matter of minutes to several wineries in the area. Entertainment provided during the summer time. Several lakes for swimming and fishing.

Honeymoon Campground

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon to Acadia National Park! We stayed in a small cabin and it was perfect for our stay. Weather was a bit cold when we were there (October 2018), but there was a space heater. Had space to prepare food as well as a microwave, fire pit, and grill for use. The showers and bathroom were well maintained and close to the cabins. Walking distance to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse and other National Park hiking trails. We loved it and look forward returning for another trip!

Will stay again if we book fast enough!

Stayed here in 2016 and unfortunately haven’t booked fast enough in the past couple of years to stay again (it fills up really fast!) But none the less, it is a great state park campground and is in the Hocking Hills State Park. Hiking trails nearby as well as other State Park activities.

Beautiful campground!

My husband camped here in 2018 and plan on it again this year! Lake Hope has plenty of recreational opportunities for everyone and the campground is close by! The campground is quiet and well kept. We tent camp so we usually have a non-electric site so the area we stay is away from most of the RVs. Bathrooms and showers are maintained well. Not far from Hocking Hills State Park as well as other park areas. Plenty of opportunities for hiking, boating, and other activities.

Very low key!

My husband and I stayed at Site 030 for the weekend and it was beautiful! No electricity and the sites are most tent sites, but the sounds of the creek, birds, and frogs really immerse you in nature! If it rains, it does get quite wet, so be prepared for that. There is opportunity for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and hiking in the area!
