Tie Hack Campground, June 2015

This is a lovely National Forest Campground. Quiet and pretty, some hiking trails to the reservoir. No electric of course, pit toilets.

Snake Creek Campground SD

This is a pretty park, probably primarily used by families that are boating or fishing the Missouri River. Playground for kids. Clean restrooms, was quiet at night. We stayed here one night in our small RV on June 3rd, 2015. We could not find any camping available along Interstate 90 while heading west, and got lucky with a cancelation at this park. We had to travel 20 miles out of our way to camp!! Lesson learned to plan ahead while traveling through South Dakota.

Ta-Ha-Zouka, Norfolk NE

This is a CITY campground. We stayed here May 9, 2015, in our small class B rv. It is an OK choice when no other more scenic and quiet options are available. We pulled in late and left early on our way to better places! There is some road noise as it is just off the road into Norfolk. Bathrooms were clean, we were very tired and noises did not wake us during the night.

Merritt Resevoir Nebraska

This is what my husband and I call a "fish camp" - meaning most of the campers are here to fish the reservoir. There were no trees in our campground, not very scenic. The toilets were flush, ok, but the showers were pay showers and did not look very good, we opted to wait until next campground!
Stay was May 3rd, 2015

My Review

Beautiful Wisconsin state park. Two campgrounds, the north campground is more primitive, the south campground, where we stayed, has electrical hookups. We stayed here in Oct. of 2014, our first night camping in our new RV. Only stayed one night, but we were impressed. Decent bathrooms and showers in the south campground.
