Had to leave
This is a nice state park, and seems to be a favorite of the locals. The campsites on the north side are VERY close together and we had 2 or 3 local families with kids and dogs surrounding us. We went to a local hotel.
Nice and quiet
This USDA Forest Service campground is a very nice one. Nicely laid out sites, well maintained bathrooms. It’s easy to walk to the lake from the lowest tent sites. We stayed here in fall, and imagine it’s heavily used in summer. There’s a great trail around the lake. $20 as of November 2020.
Nice and quiet
This camping area is managed by USFS. There are only 3 spots, each has a table and 2 have fire rings. You can’t drive your car right up to each site, but you can park fairly close.
