Easy off the highway stopover

This was a nice place to stop for a few days on my drive west into Ohio. I knew nothing about the campground prior to this visit. My next time I will stay in camping area B or C now that I have seen the layout. There is no hiking trail to the lake unless you use a horse trail which I did. If you do this prepare to get muddy.

Nice sites on a great state park right of PA route 30

Very nice state park in a great location. Lots of easy hikes available. Good trout fishing nearby. Although it wasn’t open when I was camping, this state park has a swimming pool at the main park are.

Small and quiet

This campground is on the smaller side but very nice, campsites were nice size big enough for my 32 foot motor home and mid size suv.

Surrounded by state forest and the road in is dirt which doesn’t bother me, i just wanted to give the info.

Great park

Nice mid week stay in a great location.

Peaceful and quiet with a view

Easy walk to beach area and boat launch. Very clean.

Awesome area tucked into a wooded hillside.

I camped in the Hillside Loop (Dog Friendly).  Not a bad walk to the lake.  Site was reasonable leave and plenty of room for my 32 foot Motor home and car.

Awesome fall camping

Site number 12 is a pull thru that was very easy to level with a great are for my 2 year old granddaughter to enjoy. Bathhouse was very clean with hot water shower.
