Peaceful

This is a small privately owned campground. It's not in a city but not far from a few busy ones. You get the feel of a country stay but the owner is so friendly and helpful that you feel like your visiting family or friends. The site we had had a nice sized front and back area which was nice with our larger dogs. Most of the other campers there are workers for the refinery nearby. Only 2 of the 12 sites seemed to be long term and they were all well kept. Mr Jim the owner works but is just a text or phone call away and actually lives (in a silo or feed bin his family converted into a house, which we thought very interesting and unique) right around the corner. So if you're ever in the area it is worth a stop. While there look for the sign to buy the eggs, best brown eggs I've had in awhile (thanks ricky).

The Smith family are so hospitable

We only got to stay for a little over a week but me and the pups had so much fun while we were there. They have chickens so u can get fresh eggs when u need them. There are some donkeys at the neighbors next door that made my Rosie nervous with their noises but not even they could keep her from going outside to dig. She is a digger for sure and she had a blast along with Brutus. They also have a lumber milling business there so there is no shortage of good firewood, he will deliver and set it up for u. They seem to be either expanding or just improving the 2 sites that are there but we felt right at home even with it being cold.

Welcome to your home away from home

This campground is so peaceful. From the tranquil sound of the waterfall to the sounds of the ducks and egrets in the water. You are on an island in Pennsylvania…😲. The creek flows on both sides of the campground surrounding it entirely. One side is deep & good for fishing and the other is usually knee deep at deepest and so much fun to play around in. The owners David & Ali make you feel like your family on your first day.

open space and quiet

We went during off season and the campground was very isolated until the weekends so we had lots of room to explore and play without having others around

family fun and hospitality

lots of places for the kids to float down on intertubes. the owners and staff are so kind, they make you feel at home.

camping or rafting

This place has RV sites, tent site and a place to take a white water rafting adventure all here. Ziplines are just next to it and if you hang out by the river you will see them zip across the river, the dogs were so amazed by this. They charge the same low rate year round no matter the season or holiday, which is unusual. They have some long term sites and short term ones in RV area. The only thing I wish was different would be to have some of the RV sites closer to the river. It's not far from it but u cant see it from the RV area. All the sites by the river are for tent campers only. Almost went and bought me a tent to have down there on another site so we could have a comfy spot on the river for us to hang out. But we only stayed a couple days and had to move on to the house. Would definitely return if in the area.

Tranquil music of the water

I really enjoyed the hospitality of the owners and workers here, they make u feel right at home and like one of the family. But the most amazing thing here is the water. As u can guess from the name there are 3 creeks that all converge into one at the point. Since it is a rolling creek it makes such beautifully tranquil noise. I slept so good when it wasnt too hot to sleep with the windows open.

peace with hospitality

We were here for work and only needed a week so we were barely able to stay here. But I'm so glad they said we could. The gardens and the views here are just inspiring. Owners of this caliber are a very rare treat, it's been in the family for 50 yrs now. Currently the daughter & granddaughter are taking care of things but her parents are here daily still. I really enjoyed conversing with them all. The place had a slower paced feel like back home so I love it here. It was worth a 30-45 min drive one way every day to work just to enjoy this gem in the mountains.
