We arrived early evening and had no trouble getting a spot. There was a storm rolling in so it was very windy. It takes about 20 ish minutes to get to the sites once you get on the dirt road. Each of the sites had gorgeous views. We stayed at the second to last site on the right side. The restroom was right next to us which was convenient. At night it got pretty chilly. This spot is a hidden gem! Very quiet and peaceful. There were a few other people there the night we stayed but definitely still plenty of room to spread out from one another and still have your own private space. We originally planned to stay at spring creek but we got there late in the evening and all the spots had already been claimed. To be fair there was only 3 spots so not many to choose from but would have definitely preferred to stay at the one. But either options are excellent choices!

It was a great stay! Site 10 had a beautiful view of the lake. Multiple restrooms but no showers. Each site was paved with a picnic table and fire pit. The only complaint would be the enormous amount of bugs.

There are a couple walking trails around, as well each site is fairly far apart. It's really quite only seen a handful of cars drive by and I've stayed here for 2 nights, would highly recommend.
