Minnie Winnie owners , we travel with our kids looking for time away from work

No thrills a camping

We stayed here two nights while we swam in balmorhea. We pulled in late at night and we just placed $20 in the office , picked a spot and slept. The next day we swam all day and returned to a different spot. Same easy process, leave $20 in the office with your spit number. All spots are open and have full hook ups. Some are overgrown with weeds and the water isn’t accessible so choose wisely. Gravel and level spots, next to a gas station and diner.

Friendly clean rv park

We stayed here in January and the stay was wonderful. We were greeted by friendly and helpful hosts. Nice office and with couches and a book/dvd lending library. There is a pool in the summer and an area for breakfast. Our stay in January was wonderful. You can also refill your propane on site. We would come back here any time !

Loud overnight parties

We stayed here with our daughter and there is a “hall” on site that guests use for parties and gatherings. The loud music and drinking went on late at night and did not let us sleep. We ended up leaving early. The sites are clean and even , there is a nice table to sit and relax. The rv park is close to the Main Street , however we will not stay here again. Rude and loud parties are not our idea of relaxing

Balloon fest rv site

We stayed here during our vacation to see the balloon fest. The campsite is large with lots of sites, even a playground. Clean and open sites, even paved areas. It is off the highway and easily accessible. We enjoyed our stay

Remote campsite no wifi

The road to get to 16 springs is not paved all the way and it can be narrow at certain points. Our Minnie Winnie handles turns very well and it had no problems getting there. The road is bumpy and can be rough at some points. Once you get there, the views are wonderful. The owners are helpful and drive around to check on you. There is a wide open space to walk around but no wi fi unless you drive into town. If you are planning to disconnect, this is the perfect place. We have camped there twice and had a great experience.

Basically a parking lot

The hook ups are all There and it’s easily accessible to the hot springs , but don’t expect any privacy or space. You’re paying for a parking space to have access to the hot springs . We’ve stayed here 3 times , it’s always clean and everything works. I love the hit springs but would prefer to stay in my rv than an overpriced room. You cross the street and you are in the hot springs , even gravel parking. Wi Fi is great , there is a convenience store within walking distance. Free coffee and tea in the morning, overall a safe and clean place to stay while you visit the Hot Springs.

Best family vacation

We’ve camped here 3 summers in a row because there is nothing like it . Huge campsite area with so many activities your family won’t be bored. Water park , mini golf, River access and so much more. There is a restaurant on site and a store with anything you might need on your stay. Laundry room and clean showers. I will Keep Camping here with my family . Try the brick oven pizza, you will not be disappointed. There is a cute little wagon that sells coffee and breakfast items in the mornings. There is also a snack bar for a quick bite by the pool. I recommend renting a golf cart, the site is too large to walk everywhere. Try the rec room activities, it's a fun way to cool down when the kids have had too much sun.

Home away from home

Best rv campsite in the area clean and spacious sites , access to the River, firewood for sale and friendly owners. We have camped here the last 3 years and we love this place. Matt is a great host always helpful and kind. You will love this campground !
