We stayed in the primitive are and we were tucked away back by the lake.

We got arrived two days earlier than planned and got lucky with one spot open in the south campground to stay in until our spot at watchman opened up. It was just as nice and provided great views all the same.

Easily on my my favorite sites. Tucked just off the road at the base of the canyon wall, there were maybe 2 other groups here keeping it very quite and private.

We went in late December of 2020 and there was about a foot of snow down. It was one of the best campgrounds on our trip!

It was a bit of a drive to the park and depending on traffic it could take a while. Otherwise it’s a clean and decent campground.

Great private sites with a short 5 minute walk to the coast!

We stayed for 5 nights and couldn’t have been happier the spots were very clean the fire pit cleaned out and decent coverage from neighboring sites
