Right on lake peppin. Cramped spots with no privacy Camp post cruised around constantly hassling us about everything and made us feel unwelcome. Trains come by every 15-30 minutes just feet away from camp site.
Lots of sites all separated by trees. Has a awesome family owned drive thru fast food shop at the entrance. The river is perfect for paddle boarding.
I love this place. Nice and tucked away. Sites are very private. Has beautiful trails. Next to the river great for exploring and fishing.
This place has a lot of stuff to keep the kids busy but not much for adults to do. Doesn’t really have the feel of camping. It’s right off a highway so you hear cars flying by 24/7. Campsites are all cramped together with zero privacy.
Plenty of sites. Not too cramped. Plenty of trails with beautiful views. Next to a nice trout stream.
For free the area is awesome right by the river. We found a site tucked away from people which is what we like. We set up hammocks right next to the river. The hike from parking is not bad at all about a 10 minute walk from parking to the farthest site.
