It's amazing go if you can. Especially the military side. Secluded and awesome.
Well taken care of place with lots of activities. Close to lake Bull Shoals, Taneycomo, and Branson if that's your thing.
Great camping spots, lots to do, bonnoroo happens close by.
Had to go there while on hurricane evacuation and turned it into a hurricane induced 5 day vacation, best choice ever. Will go there anytime I go through AL. Friendly staff, beautiful park, beautiful pools and splash pad. Right on the river. Close to Birmingham but not too close.
It'll due if you are working on base or just visiting. Not a lot to do. Store is right next door. Hardly ever a spot open. Good luck.

Very well taken care of, very nice caretakers, very close to HHI, Bluffton, Beaufort, Savannah. Super nice campground with lots of fun stuff for the kids to do. There is a small lake and kayaks, a common house for hanging out by the lake and dock area with a huge fire pit.
If you have a 30 amp rv/camper you can get a spot at one of the 3 decent Thunderbird parks most of the time same day no reservation. If you have a 50 amp better go parkit on Thursday so you have a weekend spot. On the lake and that's what we want. Lots of yahoos in the summer it's a party spot.
Close to Memphis, across the river. It's a great campground. The scenery is not spectacular but that's not their fault. Surprisingly quiet for being right on hwy 40. Place is well taken care of an breakfast was awesome!
Just passing through, but was a nice campground. Looked like it was well taken care of. Barely talked to the staff. Late checkin and early depart for me. Cable and wifi worked.
For Floating and camping you won't find a better place to go in the area.
Cant think of a better place to stay and go to the parks in Orlando. Very well kept, nice pool, good little store, laundry, convenient, clean, lots of family activities to do. I'm going back in OCT.
It's totally worth the visit. It's on the Illinois river and is very well kept. Full hookups. Nice staff. Beautiful.
I liked this one the best if all the Dirtybird campgrounds. best position on the lake. Less of a party crowd over here.
This is a great family campground, they have very well appointed RV sites, Tent sites and cabins that look like train Cabooses, and some others. but it is super nice and well taken care of. its close to 95 but you really don't notice that. people like this place because there were a lot of return visitors from way out of state. We had neighbors that snowbird in FL but they live in Manitoba, Canada and drive all the way over just to stay there on their way to FL.
